MEET A BOARD MEMBER Dr. Thomas Meyer Dr. Thomas Meyer, president of Metropolitan Community College’s Blue River and Business & Technology campuses, is new to the Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce board for 2020. “As your community college, we pride ourselves in working with local businesses and industry partners to help them meet their workforce demands. The Chamber of Commerce is the perfect place to meet the “movers and shakers” of the community, and I remain impressed with the passion and care that the chamber demonstrates to its members and to businesses in the community.” In his free time, Dr. Meyer enjoys gardening, painting, and world travel. He and his spouse travel between Fort Lauderdale and Kansas City, and they have three cats and two dogs. Originally from Allentown, PA they have found a new home in Missouri.
