November Events

Did you know that the Chamber offers annual sponsorship packages to all members every November? Our Annual Sponsorship Guide provides an overview of the upcoming year’s major events and highlights sponsorship and advertising opportunities.

This approach benefits our members in several ways:

1. It supports budgeting and planning, allowing members to allocate resources effectively.

2. Early sponsorship commitments enhance our ability to promote sponsors both for specific events and as annual supporters.

3. Packages offer added value, with a 10% discount based on the package amount. This means members can enjoy the same sponsorship perks at a reduced rate compared to those who sign up later in the year.

Since many of our events reach capacity, sponsorships are a great way to secure your spot. The previous years’ sponsors have the first right of refusal for renewing their support.

For more information on available opportunities, reach out to a Chamber staff member.

Melissa Jenkins, Jackson County Tow Service

Melissa Jenkins, owner of Jackson County Tow Service, leads her business with a simple, compassionate mission: to help. “When people need us, they are usually having a bad day,” she explains. “Our goal is to help alleviate that as much as we are able.” As Owner, Vice President, and Secretary/Treasurer, Melissa brings a personal touch to her work, understanding that her team plays an essential role in assisting the community during challenging times.

A lifelong resident of the Kansas City Metro, Melissa is also a proud mother of three daughters and two stepsons, whom she warmly calls “hers.” Her

oldest daughter works alongside her daily, serving as Melissa’s “right hand” at the tow lot. Before launching Jackson County Tow Service 15 years ago in Blue Springs, Melissa spent 13 years in the medical field, an experience that fuels her care-centered approach to her current work.

Outside of business, Melissa enjoys getting away down south to ride razors, a hobby that allows her to unwind and recharge. Her dedication to her family, her team, and her clients has made Jackson County Tow Service a trusted part of the Blue Springs community—a place where people find both reliable help and genuine empathy in times of need.
