CONNECTION
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
We kicked off the Holiday season with our annual Holiday Social at the Adams Pointe Golf Club

Even the Grinch needs to let loose once in a while! Members enjoyed socializing over appetizers and drinks provided by some of our favorite local businesses and competed in a cookie decorating contest. Thank you to Anthem Photography and America’s Community Bank for sponsoring this event!

GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP WEEK
After Hours Networking
We celebrated Global Entrepreneurship Week by connecting with both members and non-members at East Forty Brewing during After Hours Networking. This was a great opportunity to connect with business owners & representatives of all different levels and sizes.

Congratulations to One Community Hospice and Pallative Care on being rated the top hospice in Kansas City by Medicare and the families who receive their care. Each family who uses hospice services is sent a survey from Medicare to rate the care they received from their hospice. This is the most accurate rating for hospices since it is directly from those who experienced the care.
Community Services League is in need of Christmas donations to help our neighbors in need. Due to the economy CSL is serving more families than ever. If you or your business would like to help, please drop items off at the CSL office before December 16. Click here for a list of suggested donations. Contact Melodie Chrisman at chrismanm@ cslcares.org for more details.

MEET A MEMBER
Dr. Amit Patel,

I am Partner-Owner and Chief Medical Officer for the Kansas City region of Dental Depot. My role within this title is to oversee growth within this new market, mentoring doctors, and bringing the Dental Depot quality that is well known within established markets like Oklahoma City.

I believe what makes our business unique is the quality care we provide our patients with a common-sense, patient-centered focused care that Dental Depot was built on in 1978.
I grew up in a small town in southwest Missouri, attended University of MissouriColumbia for undergrad, and UMKC for dental school. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Alisha, friends and family, watching sports, and playing golf.
