FALL FUN FESTIVAL 2022
Behind the Scenes with Lil’ Blue Lil’ Blue has been busy preparing for The Amazing Fall Fun Festival! On Monday, July 25 Lil’ Blue starred in a promotional Fall Fun Festival video with the Saint Luke’s East Hospital team! Saint Luke’s East Hospital is the Fall Fun Festival title sponsor. Keep an eye out for Lil’ Blue’s big debut coming soon!
The Fall Fun Festival committee and Chamber staff have been hard at work preparing for The Amazing Fall Fun Festival! Fest will take place on September 16, 17 & 18 in downtown Blue Springs and will include hundreds of vendors, delicious food, carnival for the young and young at heart, parade, car show, cornhole tournament and of course entertainemnt galore! Fall Fun Festival volunteer sign-ups are now open. Check out page 2 for more details. If you’re interested in sponsoring the festival, a few options are still available. MEMBER NEWS Rainbow Center for Communicative Disorder’s Co-Founder and Executive Director, Marilu Herrick, retired from the non profit organization on June 30, 2022. “It has been an incredible opportunity for me to serve as Executive Director of Rainbow and I Marilu Herrick wish to express my gratitude to so many who have given their support to both the organization and to me over the past 45 years,” Marilu said. “I will sincerely miss all the friends I have made along the way, and the vital work we accomplished together for our children and adults with special needs.” Dr. Alan Foster, DDS, Foster Dental Care, is proud to announce the transition and ownership of the practice to Dr. Niki McDaniel. Dr. McDaniel has been a member of the Foster Dental team for over the past 4 years providing kind and compassionate care to all of our patients in the practice. Dr. McDaniel graduated from UMKC in 2017 and spent an additional year in advanced training in general dentistry also at UMKC. Do you have news you want to share?
