MEMBER NEWS Hy-Vee now holds the official world record for the largest serving of pancakes. Eighteen Hy-Vee chefs made 13,000 pancakes over seven hours. St. Mary’s Medical Center is now offering gynecological care including surgeries and same-day outpatient procedures provided by Independence Womens’ Clinic. HeroFundUSA, Inc. is partnering with FOX4 for a day-long telethon to raise money for local first responders and emergency workers on Thursday, September 9th. MEET A BOARD MEMBER Brandon Keller, Economic Development Manager I joined the City of Blue Springs as the Economic Development Manager in 2020. I have previous experience working for the Jackson County, MO Economic Development Tax Incentive Unit and the State of Missouri’s Economic Development Department. I grew up in Raytown, MO and currently reside near the Country Club Plaza with my wife and young Goldendoodle Kona, who was bred at Farmstead 51 in Blue Springs. I’ve enjoyed my time in Blue Springs and getting to know everyone in the community. I enjoy everything outdoors and am always looking for something new. I couldn’t be more excited to be in Blue Springs and take over a role that has been held by some of the best Economic Development professionals in the Midwest.
