Developing excellent and effective eLearning is at the heart of what we do at Blue Stream Academy.

We’re passionate about creating the most engaging and useful eLearning for the health and social care sectors we support in the UK. Alongside the delivery of brand new modules, our existing modules are updated as required to reflect relevant changes to practice, regulations and guidance, and the use of the most accurate terminology and language.

All our eLearning modules are created inhouse by our talented Blue Stream Academy content developers (who work with carefully selected subject matter experts), graphic designers, software developers and programmers.

This means that we can keep fully up to date with current eLearning and training needs for the sectors we work with and we can listen to our customers’ feedback and develop the resources they really want to use.

We’re also constantly reviewing the health and social care sectors we partner and keeping abreast of the news, current affairs and social media so that we can address ongoing issues in these sectors and remain ahead of the game within the eLearning environment.

We know that interactive, highly visual eLearning that’s developed specifically with the user and their requirements in mind, is extremely effective and cost-efficient and we’re very proud of Blue Stream Academy’s position as the UK’s leading provider of eLearning to GP practices, as well as nursing and care homes, hospices and out of hours services.

We’d like to keep you updated on the latest eLearning news from Blue Stream Academy and we’re also here to listen – we’d really welcome your thoughts and feedback on the eLearning and targeted training you’d like to see made available for the UK’s health and social care sectors. We’ve released several important eLearning modules recently including our Mental Health Awareness modules covering the following key subjects which are relevant across the health and social care sectors:

• Eating Disorders Awareness

• Stress Awareness

• Suicide Awareness

We’ve also released a module on another important subject – Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) – which is useful across all the sectors we support.

Abbie Scattergood

Nursing & Care Home Suite Manager

Hello, my name is Abbie Scattergood! I joined Blue Stream Academy in July 2019 and I am now the Nursing and Care Home Suite Manager. I am a bubbly person who really loves my job and I enjoy the challenges and rewards of my role within the company. I manage all the accounts for Nursing and Care across the UK as well as liaising with potential customers about our eLearning suites.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, especially my furry 4 legged friends, Millie and Willow! I am currently saving to buy my first house and I am one of the lucky few of the population who is a twin!
