This past year—Bryn Mawr’s 140th—was truly remarkable thanks to our collective generosity. The community came together to raise over $1.7 million for The Fund for Bryn Mawr, making it our most successful year of annual giving yet, supporting everything from academics, athletics, and arts, to needbased scholarships and retaining talented and passionate faculty members.

We also achieved our highest number of donors ever on Daisy Day with 425 participants, showcasing the widespread enthusiasm within our community.

This Report on Giving shows how your generous philanthropy directly enhances the daily lives of Bryn Mawr students and teachers. The impact of our endowed funds enabled unique experiences like students hearing from our Women of Consequence honoree, NASA scientist Nikki Fox and the sixth grade’s memorable trip to New York City to see their classmate star in the hit musical, Annie (pg. 4). We also celebrate the dedication of our incredible faculty members, whose passion enriches our students’ learning every day, and the thirty-year legacy of Peer Education at Bryn Mawr (pg.8), a cross-divisional program made possible by the ongoing support of the O’Neil family. Alumnae, parents and current students from Lower, Middle and Upper School came together to support our Mawrtians. Celebrating Faculty Señora Marisa Pérez Named 2025 Recipient of the Blanche and A.V. Williams Master Teaching Chair The Blanche and A.V. Williams Master Teaching Chair is given annually at Founders Day to a faculty member who exemplifies excellence in teaching, leadership, and community engagement.

This past year, we were thrilled to honor Señora Marisa Pérez P’25, a dynamic educator whose work has deeply enriched the academic and cultural life of Bryn Mawr. Established by Jennie Lee Williams Fowlkes ’65 P’89 ’91 ’96, GP’29 in memory of her parents, the Master Teaching Chair recognizes outstanding teaching in any division or department. The award celebrates those who go beyond classroom instruction to inspire, connect, and uplift the Bryn Mawr community. Señora Pérez is the embodiment of that mission.

Now in her twelfth year at Bryn Mawr, Señora Pérez teaches Spanish I, Spanish IV Honors, and Seminar. She holds a master’s degree in teaching Spanish as a foreign language and brings an infectious energy and creativity to her classes. Her students benefit not only from her expertise, but also from her dedication to exploring the diverse cultures of the Spanish-speaking world.

Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Señora Pérez maintains close ties to her heritage through annual visits with family. Her love for language extends into her personal life—she enjoys traveling, reading, running, learning new languages, and crafting. Her multifaceted interests help her connect meaningfully with students and colleagues alike.

Señora Pérez has helped build transformative programs that strengthen our school culture. She developed the now-annual Spanish Immersion Day, organized Día de los Muertos celebrations, and led P5X events during Hispanic Heritage Month. Known for her compassion, leadership, and unwavering dedication to

her students, Señora Pérez continues to shape the Bryn Mawr experience in powerful ways and shares,“It is an honor to receive this award from a place I hold so deeply in my heart. Every day I have the privilege and opportunity to share my language, my culture and the rich traditions of Spain and Latin America with curious, thoughtful students who embrace learning with open minds. It brings me a lot of joy when I see my students show respect and appreciation for cultures around the world.”

During Alumnae Weekend this spring, The Bryn Mawr School community gathered to celebrate a remarkable milestone: 30 years of the Peer Education Program, a student-led initiative that has quietly transformed conversations, classrooms, and lives across generations.

What began in 1995 as a bold experiment in peerto-peer learning has grown into one of Bryn Mawr’s most enduring and impactful programs. Today, it continues to shape confident, compassionate leaders and provides younger students with relatable role models who are trained to listen, educate, and support their peers on topics related to physical and emotional well-being.

It wouldn’t have made it to 30 years if it didn’t. So thank you—to the faculty, the administration, and most importantly, to the peer educators, for your time and effort. Don’t underestimate the impact you have.”

On Friday, January 31, everything came up daisies for Bryn Mawr’s 7th annual Daisy Day celebration! It was a record-breaking day of giving to The Fund for Bryn Mawr as our community exceeded all expectations.

The day ended with a bang at our 3rd annual Bryn Mawr’s Got Talent where our students sang, danced and performed to a roaring crowd.

Milan G. ’29 and Avelynn P. ’29 were crowned the talent show winner for their heartwarming Wicked singing duet. Olivia S. ’30 and Regan F-W ’30 earned second place for their energetic dance performance, and members of the Class of 2025 took third with their creative Sound of Music song-skit.

Nearly 100 parents and alumnae joined us to kick off Daisy Day at the Daisy Day Parent Coffee in headquarters.

We kicked off the year with a strong start with a successful uniform sale, a warm Senior Welcome BBQ, and a fun 9th Grade Social at the Head of School’s House. We engaged in meaningful conversation at a DEI Roundtable event and enjoyed an evening of connection during Wisdom, Wills & Wine. A Parents’ day trip to NYC offered a special day of adventure, while our 3rd annual Pickleball Tournament, supported by corporate sponsors, added friendly competition to the mix. Lower School families celebrated the Halloween season with a festive Trunk or Treat, and our faculty and staff were treated to a morning coffee truck as a small token of appreciation.

During the winter, though the weather impacted our MLK Day of Service, families found creative ways to complete service projects from home. Lower School students made cheerful pillowcases for the Ronald McDonald House, Middle School assembled care kits for Healthcare for the Homeless, and Upper School students crafted fleece blankets and ceramic bowls for Project Linus and Empty Bowls.

Other winter events included the multicultural dinner and talent Show, Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day (with gift card giveaways and breakfast), the 8th Annual Bingo Bash, a Gather & Grow charcuterie night, and a parent wellness event on neurodiversity.

We continued the momentum into spring with Mawrtian Madness, the Cheers to Spring social at Cece’s Roland Park, and the spring book club discussion of Everything I Never Told You—a parent favorite made extra special by student participation! The DEI Roundtable titled Navigating Difficult Conversations opened thoughtful dialogue, and we hosted
