Island life has taught us a few things.

We learned that it’s best to travel light. Everything you own, especially what you wear should work for you, not the other way around.

We learned that looking your best means being at ease. Ease means feeling comfortable, wrapped in natural, breathable fabric, as well as confident that your garments will function in any environment you might encounter.

Your best foot should always be forward. Classic styles cleverly refined means they do not stand out at first glace, begging for attention. In our collection, the subtle details make the difference. Details that were designed for you.

For some of us it is home, and for others it is our favorite place to visit. Harbour Island is two miles off the Northeast coast of Eleuthera, just a half mile wide and 3.5 miles long.

Colloquially abbreviated as Briland, it’s primarily renowned for its pink sand beach and supremely defensible port. But for us it’s about the relationships with friends and family that inhabit this magical place. Bryland’s clothing is inspired by the style, color and substance of these people.

We returned to our island to shoot the 2018 resort capsule collection and revisited some of the people and places we hold close to our heart. As you turn the pages you will meet Robert Arthur at his charming bakery cafe with the pineapple fence in addition to JayJay Percentie greeting you from Bay Street.

The Devil’s Backbone beach lined with fur trees offered us a respite from the sun. And of course no trip would be complete without striking a pose in front of the famous Lone Tree on the sand flats. Also you can’t miss catching a sunset at Valentine’s marina.
