Tips and Tricks

Write until the story is finished. No one wants to read fluff but make sure you get the whole story in, no more, no less.

Get stuff turned in on time. Don’t slack and leave the other person you are writing with or giving art/photography behind.

Take action. When you see someone isn’t getting their story done or can’t figure out the angle, help them!

Know your story. Don’t make a crappy story just cause you need to fill the page, make sure you mean it.

Have fun! Journalism allows you to unleash your creativeness and show your talents to others, so enjoy it!
