ife in the twenty-first century happens so fast that you hardly have time to think before you do. And yet the world has become so complex that it requires more thinking than ever. Bryan College is an environment where serious thinkers can take a step back and ponder the things that are true and right and beautiful. Bryan professors and students spur each other on both intellectually and spiritually. By using critical thinking skills, open dialog, and a Biblical framework, students develop habits of mind they will carry through all of life. As they learn to think—really think—they are better equipped to do—to act in meaningful ways.

Our motto at Bryan College is “Christ Above All.” If Christ is above all, then there is a great deal that we need to go out and do in this world. That is all the more reason to slow down and think.

a place to think

a place to do

Academic excellence is at the heart of our mission at Bryan College. The claims of Christ don’t make intellectual pursuits less important, but more important. Our professors, therefore, are of the highest caliber. They are serious about scholarship, serious about teaching, and serious about mentoring students both inside the classroom and out.

The college years are a time of tremendous relational and spiritual growth. College students build friendships that last a lifetime; they find out what they really believe and begin to own those beliefs.

It is no wonder that Bryan graduates are going out and making a difference in every area of culture around the world: in teaching, business, ministry, law, medicine, and every other field of endeavor.

The campus culture at Bryan College is deeply relational. Friends feel like family here, and there is a place for everyone. By getting involved in intramurals, Bible studies, dorm life, or any of more than forty campus clubs and activities, Bryan students have ample opportunities to connect, lead, and build relationships. Bryan mixes classroom lectures, discussion, group projects, and field work to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted approach to learning.
