Grow in Your Faith At Bryan, “Christ Above All” isn’t just our motto—it’s our way of life. In the classroom, our professors present information from a Christ-centered approach and will encourage you in your faith journey. Outside class, you’ll have many opportunities to connect and grow spiritually.

Discipleship Groups

Our chapel services allow students, faculty, and staff to come together to grow in God’s Word and worship as one body. Services meet three times a week and feature a mix of guest speakers from around the world as well as Bryan faculty and staff.

Discipleship groups provide students the opportunity to grow in their walk with the Lord and find accountability with one another.

Led by current Bryan students, these genderspecific groups consist of 4-8 students each and meet regularly throughout the year.

Put Your Faith into Action

Our goal is to provide students with opportunities to share God’s love through serving our community. Students put their faith into action through a variety of community service projects aimed at making a difference in today’s world.

All-College Service Day Every year, we devote an entire day just to serve our local community. Whether it’s mowing someone’s lawn or baking cookies, our goal is to show Christ’s love to the world in a real and meaningful way.

Practical Christian Involvement (PCI) PCI is an organization where students work with local churches and non-profits to complete various service projects through the year. Recent projects have included work with senior adults, tutoring services for children in Rhea County, and much more.

Take Your Talents on Stage Open to all majors, our performing arts groups offer students the ability to gain valuable knowledge from our faculty and experience from performances throughout the year. Whether you’re majoring in music or just looking for a fun activity, we have a spot for you.

Get to Know Dayton Dayton may be considered small to some, but trust us—there’s a lot to do here. Here are just a few of the highlights.

Pocket Wilderness Located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Dayton is home to many spectacular views and hiking trails perfect for exploring when you need a break from studying. Many of them can be found at Pocket Wilderness, approximately 10 minutes away from campus.

Harmony House Coffee Shop Need coffee break before your big exam? You’re in luck. Harmony House is a favorite among students for its fresh, custom-roasted coffee and relaxing space to study or hang out with friends.

Ponds and Plants Don’t let the name fool you. Ponds and Plants is equal parts zoo, botanical garden, and wildlife refuge. It’s a hidden gem in our city and provides the perfect afternoon activity.

Make your mark

Acts Project The Acts Project is a summer-long international missions internship opportunity. Students of all majors experience how their course of study prepares them for a life of good work for God’s kingdom. Once on the field, Acts Project interns serve alongside believers of many nationalities and live with missionaries who become cultural guides, vocational mentors, and spiritual friends.

Global Career Internships Through the Bryan Center for International Development (CID), students can earn valuable career experience while experiencing the culture of another country. The CID partners with a variety of organizations around the world. Through these strategic partnerships, the CID’s Global Career Internship program has sent students around the globe to get on-the-job training in areas such as business, politics, government, communications, and more. Internships are typically held during the summer months. The director of this program assists students in finding a Global Career Internship that fits their goals, interests, and budget.
