All the packing has already been done, The iridescent water shining bright, From when we land we know we will have fun, The nights especially will be most light.

Biking in heat of sunny summer days, To reach the beach and surf from dusk till dawn, Through turns and bends we take the beachside ways, Coming home to eat dinner on the lawn.

The white foamed waves washing across the shore, And searing sand beneath our barefoot feet, The freedom we cannot easily ignore, Being driven from place to place backseat.

Blues, tans, and whites of the beach beam brightly, Nantucket will forever be a dream.

Death from Shakespeare Death is often used in theatre as a way to toy with an audience's emotional state, and create fresh conflict within a story. William Shakespeare uses death and many other poetic devices throughout his playwrights. In Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare uses death to manipulate the audience's emotion throughout the play. Shakespeare uses Mercutio, Tybalt, and Lady Montegue’s death as a way to create new strife and dramatic effect in the story.

Shakespeare uses Mercutio’s death as a way to create novel emotion and conflict. Tybalt’s murder of Mercutio paves the way for newfound rage in Romeo, propelling him to kill Tybalt. This leads to Romeo’s banishment and deepens the fisher of a future with Juliet. “And for that offense, immediately do we exile him hence.”-Shakespeare(III, i). Romeo is separated from Juliet and Verona. This creates a new barrier between Romeo and Juliet’s love. Shakespeare harnesses the emotion of death in his playwrights and uses the new-found emotion toward advancing his plot development.

Shakespeare lassos the emotion from Tybalt's death and uses it to bring a new barrier to the story. Tybalt has been killed by Romeo. Lady Capulet is mourning the death of Tybalt, and barrettes Romeo's actions. “As that the villain lives which hath slaughtered him../That same villain Romeo.”Shakespeare(III,v). Juliet and Romeo's love is now contested, bringing on more challenges for their star-crossed love to prevail. Juliet’s parents now have a grudge against Romeo, sending someone to Mantua to have him killed. Shakespeare uses Tybalt’s death to elevate the plot of the story.

Shakespeare utilizes Lady Montague's death as a tool to dramatize Romeo’s banishment and the scene. Romeo and Juliet are found dead in Capuet’s tomb where they had taken their lives. Montague arrives on scene, and informs everyone that his wife, Lady Montague, had died due to the grief of Romeo’s banishment.”Alas, my liege, my wife is dead tonight; Grief of my son’s exile hath stopped her breath; what further woe conspires against mine age.”-Shakespeare(V, iii). This dramatizes the scene by adding to the severity of Romeo’s banishment. This also adds dramatic irony to the novel because Montague has no idea that his son has taken his own life. Shakespeare uses Lady Montague’s death as a way to enhance the impact of the scene.

Shakespeare uses Mercutio, Tybalt, and Lady Montague’s death to deepen the plot and harness new emotion. William Shakespeare uses death as a way to create new emotion and develop more barriers within the plot of Romeo and Juliet. Shakespeare creates novel boundaries through death for Romeo and Juliet to overcome. Death is often used as a tool to harness emotion.

Kindred are on their way, saving the day.

They stand beside him through the midnight hour.

They push through the circumstance all the way.

They help renew his passion and power.

So stand with the Kith and Kin you hold dear In the darkest hour of the night, they try.

Perhaps I'm saying to hold your kin near.

Together reach up to sky, go high Some days you'll be left to the pitch black night; in the sunless hour kith and kin shine bright.

At first, the air feels heavy, full of doubt, We stand still, our hearts are racing fast.

The dark is fear, the nerves just want to out, Unsure if we’re prepared for this at last.

The sound of the gunshot breaks the quiet, Like light that cuts through dark and makes it go.

For just a second, we feel free, no riot, The rush to run is all we seem to know.

The road ahead seems long, but we hold on, Each step feels faster, like we're flying high.

The dark fades out, replaced by something strong, A spark inside that makes us want to try.

At first, both dark and light are side by side, But light will guide us as we race with pride.

Shifting Light The sun is setting, bright throughout the day, Yet still the child flies high his blue kite.

The gentle breeze makes the tall palm trees sway, But soon the light will vanish from our sight.

The waves retreat and roll back to the sea, While the seagulls are resting on the shore.

In stillness, all is calm and relaxed, see, As silver moonlight starts to shine once more.

The moon climbs tall, rising in its firm arc, Its glow is lucent, a beam in the sky.

Amongst matte space as the sun of the dark, Yet morning nears again, it will not die.

The waves flood back and the proud seagulls sound, As light shines bright on the beach, day is found.

Sonnet: There was an attack on a cold spring day, Where a lion still right by a tree; Packs of gazelle or a mile away, Thoughts of succeeding with a burst of glee, shall he start running and make it a race? catch up to pray and have dinner to eat, or slowly progress controlling his pace: now finally the feast lied their feet The lion burst out running to catch prey running while having one thing on his mind; assured that he probably could not stay, Lions have to be fearful, but not kind; he leaps his prey is brought right to the ground, with sharpened teeth He claims his feast unbound.

The Light of day, the Calm of Night At Camp Sea Gull, where golden sunbeams gleam, The water sparkles bright as laughter’s song.

Each morning wakes us gently from a dream, As nature’s beauty draws our hearts along.

We chase the light on boats that skim the seas, Through waves that shimmer, dancing in their glow.

The lake reflects our joy upon its breeze, As powerboats and sails make spirits grow.

But when the sun sinks low and shadows creep, The darkness wraps the camp in quiet peace.

In bunks with friends, our bonds grow strong and deep, The night a time when all our fears release.

At Sea Gull’s shore, both light and dark unite, A timeless haven glowing through the night.

Love vs. Hate: School Whether it is that you love or hate school.

It’s here for laughing and learning with joy.

Or the place that makes you look like a fool.

But still you have gone even since a boy.

Some think it prepares you to be alone In the world. While others think it's pointless.

It's still a way not to be on my phone.

For being on that device brings sadness.

While many are in search for a friendship, Some come to a class and get surrounded.

Some arrive scared and push through the hardship, While people's laughs make them feel disgusted.

For a new kid how challenging it was.

An experience that was all a buzz.
