Flat weave rugs are created by intertwining the warp and weft threads on a loom to create a sophisticated finished product that has no pile and does not shed.
Knitted carpet can be produced as flat or with a pile. Flat knitted carpet are made on weft knitting machines while pile carpets consist of a ground knit fabric and a pile.
Technique involving the use of a tufting gun to weave silk or wool strands through a canvas, creating an all-cut or a cut and loop pile.
Developed on a loom, woven rugs are one of a kind and created by tying rows of knots along the weft and warp.

Natural dyes are more environmentally friendly than synthetic pigments and use GOTS certified organic dyes.
Also known as solution dye, fiber dyeing occurs when color is added to the fiber before it is spun into yarn.
Yarn that is dyed with a minimum of two different colors on a single skein to create a unique multicolored appearance.
Gabbeh, meaning: “in the rough”, consists of pure wool that is naturally dyed, traditionally sourced from plants or insects.
