Tactile Extreme
ENCORE’s Tactile Extreme collection embodies themes like protection, lushness, and tactile abundance, design inspiration centered around voluminous texture draws from natural and created worlds to compose settings that feel enveloping, rich, and immersive. The impression is of landscapes that are both abundant and touchable. Environments are built from textures which seem to morph from one state to another. Soft, pillowy clouds can shift into intricate, natural formations resembling coral or organic life forms. Textures can shift fluidly between natural elements: moss, flowing silk, velvety surfaces, and soft, cushion-like materials; and abstract digital forms: wave-like patterns or undulating pixels. Textural effects incorporate squishy, bouncy surfaces, such as plush fur or rippling foam, which gives a tactile sensation to the design. These morphing textures should feel luxurious and soft, inviting interaction and providing a space for hiding and protection.

The notion of excess should be expressed through overwhelming layers of textures, both at micro and macro scales. At a microscopic level, this could include abstract representations of cells, fibers, or fractals, magnified to evoke a sense of rich, overflowing opulence. At larger scales, landscapes resembling lush jungles, dense forests, or overgrown gardens with thick, round textures and tangled forms. Through excessive, overlapping, overabundant shapes, surfaces appear to be overflowing, as though the space is generously full.
