I stand there searching, exploring, discovering, waiting for the picture to appear. It is a life long quest. If most go right, I go left. I seek the road less traveled. I take the side streets; the back roads.
In the process of editing thousands of photographs created in thirty years of world travel including assignment and mission work, I decided to organize groups thematically. The groups span most continents, countries, and a vast range of human emotions. I may be found anywhere in the world with my Leica covering my right eye as I step into the moment.
Country sides, those on the young side, the older side, lonely sides, family sides, funny sides, and even back sides – sometimes I am off sides. The similarities between cultures as people walk side by side. There is the thoughtful side, the spiritual side. There is the frazzled side and the patient side.
