2025 Don Whitney Scholarship
Congratulations to Jake Freidman and Jaymz Lacey-Holly!
We are proud to announce the recipients of the first-ever Don Whitney/James Paccioretti Scholarship Award, presented by the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce. This scholarship honors the legacy of Don Whitney and James Paccioretti and supports the bright futures of local students pursuing higher education.
Jake Freidman, from Chalfont, PA, recently graduated from Central Bucks South High School and will be attending the University of Virginia, where he plans to major in Business Administration.
Jaymz Lacey-Holly, from Furlong, PA, graduated from Central Bucks East High School and will be attending Bucks County Community College.
The awards were presented by Theresa Fera, President/CEO of the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce, and Blair Rush, Regional President of C&N Bank and Chairman of the CBCC Board of Directors.

PA Scholarship Opportunity for Employees Seeking Bachelor Degrees
We value your participation in DelVal’s Educational Partnership Program (DelVal EPP). Through the program, your employees may pursue part-time undergraduate studies in 29 academic majors. What’s more, your DelVal EPP tuition discount can be applied to most undergraduate degree majors.
New Scholarship Program Available to PA Residents
A new scholarship program, called the Grow PA Scholarship Grant Program, will be available starting in fall 2025. Administered by the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA), the scholarship is available to PA residents who are pursuing an approved course of study and who choose to live and work in PA upon graduation.
As a regional employer, this scholarship program may help to increase employee retention as students must commit to working in PA in an in-demand occupation for a number of years equal to the number of years the grant is received. For example, a student who receives a Grow PA Scholarship Grant for 3 years is obligated to 3 years of work in PA in an in-demand occupation.
The good news? DelVal’s many academic majors are included on Grow PA Scholarship Grant Program’s list of approved studies. You can view the list on this page as well as application and program details.
