In the mood for some early holiday shopping for a good cause? The Broward Public Library Foundation is hosting an event at Alex and Ani, 1012 E. Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale. The store is known for its charms, bangle bracelets, chain necklaces and rings. Fifteen percent of the sales at the event, which will include light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments, will be donated to the Library Foundation to benefit the annual Books ‘n’ Bears at the Holidays program.
