We know with the end of several government support programs this month; money may be tighter for some of us.
We want everyone to know that F.I.S.H. is here to help. How do we do that? We provide shelf-stable food and assistance to anyone in need. We respect everyone's privacy and do not have forms to fill out or requirements to meet. All we ask is that you contact us. We deliver right to your door.
We are accepting donations for our food pantry program this month. We accept shelf-stable, non-expired groceries and pantry items and canned goods. (please no junk food) Be on the lookout for our donation bins in the front of our volunteers homes or give us a call! We are also looking for helpers, part time or full time the more the merrier!

CERAMICS

The ceramic class in Brookridge is open to all residents and neighbors. We have men and woman joining and they are very good for beginners. The beginners are doing some great pieces. I really don't call them beginner's after they finish their first piece. Everyone enjoys what they are doing, and we all have a great time.
Classes are Fridays & Saturdays from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm you can come & go any time within those hours. There is a fee to join, but that includes all paints, brushes, glazes, sealers, coffee, water, snacks.
We now are starting to do painting that has to be fired. Wait until you see the beautiful pieces when they are finished. You can contact me and please leave a message if I don't answer at 352-340-9622.

We meet in the Clubhouse in room E the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm from January to March.
At this time the class is full and can no longer accept new painters.

If you like writing, whether novels, short stories, memoirs, poems, jingles, songs, non-fiction articles or books, you're welcome to join other community writers. We meet the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month, 12:00 – 2:00 pm at the pavilion, next to the clubhouse.
