Nestled deep in the valley are the Montreal Gardens that are the home to 7.5 acres of bougainvillea, anthuriums, frangipani and other tropical flora.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines – Over the past twenty years, SVG has been my part-time home, my occasional place of work and the venue for most of my best ‘holiday’ days. Easy reach - The real reason that cruise-lines stop here is wonderfully varied. Within easy reach of the new cruise terminal are botanical gardens, a historic fort, stunning hilltop views and ‘real Caribbean’ shops and markets.
Istanbul - I loved this city as it felt like a fusion of East meets West. It is the only city in the world covering two continents. Only 10 minutes from the port - The cruise terminal in Istanbul is located in central position just a ten minute walk into the new city and just a short tram journey to the old city. You must see the Grand Bazaar and pick up a momento from your trip. Breath-taking Architecture - I will never forget how amazed I was when we walked into the Blue Mosque and looked up at the domed ceiling lined with over 20,000 ceramic tiles. There are beautiful chandeliers and stain glass windows. Remember to take a head covering and remove your shoes before entering. Experience the real Istanbul - I would recommend walking round the markets and buying some spices and incense. Find a typical Turkish street café and order some Hor D’oeuvres such as dolmas, eggplant salad, fresh flat bread and humus then sit back with a glass of wine and people watch.
