Elephants - We took a drive north through the countryside to The Elephant Safari Park, Taro. This gave us the chance to see ‘the real Bali’ not just the tourist areas. You can touch, feed and ride on the elephants during your time here, I never stopped smiling at being close to these magnificent animals.
It’s all about the famous views! Get your picture postcard photos of Santorini with the blue domed buildings.
Oia - I would highly recommend that you visit picturesque Oia. Only 25 minutes from Thira, this is where you will get your get all the best photographs of Santorini. There are quaint shops and you can spend a few hours meandering up and down the paths and staircases. The best sunsets can be seen from here.
Breathtaking Sights - Reputed to have the one of the best sunsets in the world. We were lucky to experience this from our ship as we set sail in the early evening.
Bali - Is an island paradise and one of my favourite ever ports of call.
Everyday Bali - During our drive we passed through many small villages where shops and houses are linked like a row of terraces, children and dogs roam freely in the street. On our journey we were held up by a procession to the local Temple in celebration of a wedding with the horns and drums blasting out - what an unforgettable moment!
