From Training On The Brookhurst Pitches In Kiserian To Playing In Europe

I S S U E

We created the Alumni Spotlight In order to highlight our awesome group of individuals that are part of the Brookhurst Alumnus. Brookhurst's years of Alumni have been engaging in positive contributions to society, their families and the world Spotlighting individual members helps us to motivate the current class of students to see the sky is not the limit, more is possible..

Alumni Spotlight will be a regular publication on our social media platforms and will lead to the development in the annual Brookhurst Yearbook Enjoy our 20th issue

Q 1

What are your fondest memories about your time at Brookhurst International School?

Q 2

Which values did Brookhurst impart on you that have an effect on you today?

My fondest memories were leaving the last class of the day early to go train before other people got off class I was always so focused on practicing and improving my football abilities As much as i was born with my abilities and love of the game, i always believed what doesn’t get used and improved on gets taken away Brookhurst taught me the value of resilience I’ve faced moments on the pitch when things didn’t go my way missed chances, tough losses, and high expectations But at Brookhurst, I learned that resilience means standing up every single time you fall, learning from each challenge, and pushing harder

“Get up. Go to work. Play the game. Get showered. Go home."
Paul Scholes

Q 3

What are you currently up to?

Academically, I am currently doing something to do with football coaching, but for the most part since i got off Brookhurst I have been in the universal school of life A school which we all have to pass through Professionally, I am currently working my way up the football leagues in Spain Being a footballer is a challenging and immensely enthralling way of life

Q 4

What advice would you give a Brookhurst graduate looking to study abroad?

Do it, take the leap. Go after your dreams. Everyone’s journey is different in this world, i would advise you to approach your intentions with determination.

Q 5

Fill us in on your future plans?

God is the ultimate planner. He has brought me this far. I believe he will guide me in all my moves going forward. I will continue to attract what I desire and live my life holistically.

Message To Class Of 2025 Message Class

Stay true to yourself, never betray yourself, love all the versions of you, because they ultimately push you to your greatest version Be curious of yourself, don’t limit yourself , don’t doubt yourself, never neglect yourself, always be gracious with yourself, talk to yourself , forgive yourself, appreciate yourself, trust yourself, be honest with yourself, be self critical but don’t beat yourself up, with this you will make it in life. For everything is within. Any time you exhibit positivity in these manners, the universe responds and if things aren’t right within then that’s what manifests in reality Most importantly, involve God in your life, talk to him, cast your burdens unto him, ask him for assistance, ask him for strength for by your own power it is difficult and close to impossible
