What are you currently up to?
I received a scholarship to follow my football dream at Iowa Lakes Community College in America. Prior to joining the college I was in Spain playing for a club called CDA Navalcarnero. The European experience was crucial in shaping the vision for my football career. Currently, playing NCAA football has been a pleasant challenge.
Q 4
Tell us about your transition to university life in another country? What has been your experience?
Transition to life after Brookhurst has been eye opening. I spent some time in Europe and it was a big cultural and language change. I found it was nice getting out of my comfort zone and being able to see how different countries are to Kenya. Being at Iowa Lakes and competing in NCAA football has been a great footballing experience.
Q 5
What advice would you give a Brookhurst graduate looking to study abroad?
To keep it brief I would advice them to enjoy doing what they LOVE and be open to do different experiences abroad because you are only young once.

Focus on what sparks the imagination and joy in you. Don’t live in your bubble. Travel and see the world. Experience new things in your lives.

Message To Class Of 2024
Be real to yourself know what you want in life and go for it At the stage you guys are in right now you will have a lot of peer pressure so try being a leader not a follower your friends shouldn't influence your decision making especially when you think is the right thing to do. I remember Mr. Mathenge telling us that most of the people we roll with in school will not always be with you when you leave school, this so true most of your friends with have different paths in life
Focus on your study because the final grades you make is going to be yours alone. Cherish these years this is a time to build lifelong memories and the right friendships Keep working hard, and the future will unfold in ways you may not expect!
