An explosion of art, performance and artisan stalls celebrating culture and creativity throughout the Midlands. There will be opportunities to view demonstrations by artisans, buy gifts for friends, enjoy sampling a cake.

Capturing Creativity Art Exhibition

A unique curated display of professional and amateur work from across the Midlands and beyond. You will be amazed by the talent and breadth of this Exhibition, which promises to capture creativity in the very broadest sense. Artworks are sensibly priced, and profits go directly to the artists with a small donation to the Charity.

Enrich your experience at this year’s Creative Arts Showcase as you engage and explore new practices to enhance your daily life.

Whether you are seeking peace and tranquillity or want to put a spring in your step, Zenergy Wellness Zone offers workshops for all family to calm your mind and nurture your spirit. Over the course of our two-day event, you can join the taster workshops and discover the transformative practices of mindfulness, meditation, nutrition and movement. Tailored for all ages and suitable for beginners, each session is designed to leave you feeling balanced, invigorated and inspired.

The much-loved Pop and Jazz concert’s first concert of the year, celebrating the start of the Christmas season and featuring classics from the world of jazz and musical theatre performed by Big Band, soloists and ensembles. Enjoy the comfortable and relaxed atmosphere of Routh arranged as a jazz club, please bring a picnic of drinks and snacks if you wish.

The Government Inspector

Gogol’s 1835 masterpiece, the outrageous Russian farce of mistaken identity and small-town corruption, comes to the Cobham Theatre in a riotous and lavish production of clowning and physical theatre. Set in the remotest backwater of the Central Siberian Plateau with three days ride to anywhere in any direction, only the monthly funds that arrive from St Petersburg offer any respite to the Town Council who line their own pockets against the relentless snow and freezing wind. Life has continued like this for years until word arrives that an Inspector has been sent - incognito - to find out where all the money has gone… soon everyone is in a whirlwind of panic... and more snow.
