Baby New Year 2020 Reader’s Choice Winner
The winners of our Readers’ Choice vote are 6-month-old fraternal twins Serayah and Nevayah McBride. Serayah and Nevayah were able to charm their way to over 1,600 “likes” to take the 2020 title. According to their mom, Autumn Jones, the pair were born 14 minutes apart in August of last year.
“Serayah is the oldest and you can tell by her mannerisms, when her sister cries, she will try her best to comfort her,” Autumn said. “Nevayah is the shy one, but super loving once you break the ice with her. They are both very outgoing. Once they found their voice, it’s rare that they are silent.”

She said that for Christmas, the girls got “tons of clothes and toys to encourage them to learn to crawl and sit up independently,” and “an abundance of diapers, because you can never have too many diapers with twin babies.” She said that additionally, the girls love to hold each other’s hands, and have inside jokes randomly. “You can hear them talking to each other then bust out into loud laughs together,” she said.
The family is currently working on creating a YouTube page for the girls. The intention is to allow family members and friends around the United States, and even some overseas in the military, the “opportunity to watch them grow and develop into young ladies.”
We expect big things from Serayah and Nevayah and wish them well this year and in the future.
