We want you to know that we are ready to support your Brock experience and success. Beginning with Smart Start, your orientation experience will continue throughout your first year as a Badger.

Through a series of programs, we’ll provide you with opportunities to meet your classmates, develop friendships, learn about the academic and student support services Brock University offers, and ways to get involved.

Bu101

BU101 is a free, non-credit, online academic skills program available in August. Get a head start and build your technology, scheduling, notetaking, studying, and writing skills to prepare for your courses. Explore at your own pace with opportunities to engage in group discussions.

Leap

Join a group of incoming students for a Brock experience like no other. Experience connections with students, student leaders, and supports on campus, learn valuable skills that you’ll use throughout your time at Brock, and get to know the Brock and Niagara communities before you start in September. Offered in-person, LEAP offers both a day program and an overnight program where you’ll spend a night in one of our residences. LEAP is the perfect way to jumpstart your Brock experience. Unable to make it in-person? Look forward to online options available in August.

Welcome Week

Join the incoming class of 2023-2024 and celebrate the new year and your journey at Brock by taking part in Welcome Week. Welcome Week takes place during the first week of classes in September and includes a schedule of campus-wide events and activities to enjoy.
