THE GOODMAN CPA PATHWAY — FAST, COST-EFFECTIVE, COMPLETE. Goodman provides one of the fastest tracks to the CPA designation. When you take our Bachelor of Accounting (BAcc) and Master of Accountancy (MAcc) programs, you’ll learn everything you need to successfully complete the Common Final Exam (CFE).

Option 1: Apply to the Goodman MAcc program, which would only take seven months to complete and covers the six CPA preparatory courses. Option 2: Enter the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) with advanced standing. The CPA PEP is only offered on a part-time basis and may take up to two years to complete.

GERMANY, ESB REUTLINGEN UNIVERSITY (ESB) • Located in Reutlingen, Germany (close to Stuttgart) • 2.5 years at Goodman, 2 years at ESB (depart for Germany in fall term of Year 3) • Classes at ESB taught 50% in German in year 3 and 100% in Year 4 – all students in German track will study German language in Years 1 and 2 at Brock • Degree: Bachelor of Science in International Management, with option to specialize in Year 4 • 10 spots available

FRANCE, NEOMA BUSINESS SCHOOL (NBS) • Located in Reims, France, approximately 1 hour east of Paris • 2.5 years at Goodman, 2 years at NBS (depart for France in fall term of Year 3) (classes taught in French – only students who have completed a minimum of Grade 12 French will be eligible for this track) • Degree: Diplôme du Centre d'Etudes Supérieures Européennes de Management (CESEM), with option to specialize in Year 4 • 20 spots available

IRELAND, DUBLIN CITY UNIVERSITY (DCU) • Located in Dublin, Ireland • 2.5 years at Goodman, 2 years at DCU (depart for Ireland in fall term of Year 3) • Degree: Bachelor of Arts in Global Business, with option to specialize in Year 4 • 10 spots available

Earn two degrees When you successfully complete the program, you will have earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Brock University in addition to a second degree from the partner school.

Pay tuition to Brock All tuition fees are paid to Brock University so that you don’t have to pay international student fees at the partner school.

Mandatory co-op terms This co-op only program gives you international work experience. You will complete one co-op work term in Canada and one co-op work term in Europe.

ICBC TEAM Clara Fennuk and Preya Parikh placed second in the human resources category at the Inter-Collegiate Business Competition hosted by Queen’s University.

GOODMAN DECA U TEAM A team of 57 Goodman students competed at the 2018 DECA U Provincials and won a total of 17 medals. From this team, 15 went on to compete at the International Career Development Conference in Anaheim, California, and won a record 32 medals.

DISTINGUISHED LEADER SERIES Each year, the Goodman School of Business gives the Distinguished Leader award to a business professional that has demonstrated leadership and success in his or her chosen field. The recipient is invited to campus to conduct a lecture on their leadership style, career path, and advice they have for Goodman students and future leaders. The Goodman School of Business 2017 Distinguished Leader recipient was Deepak Chopra, President and CEO of Canada Post, an $8-billion corporation. Past Distinguished Leader recipients include Martine Irman of TD Bank Group, Galen Weston of Loblaw Companies Ltd., and Michael McCain of Maple Leaf Foods.

Olivia is a fourth-year BBA Co-op student who has taken advantage of countless opportunities that have helped shape her path to success. She has been actively involved in several Goodman student clubs, Brock Leaders Citizenship Society, case competitions, competed in Monster Pitch, and has been awarded the Deborah E. Rosati Entrepreneurship Award.

“ I chose to get involved with Goodman from Day 1 and I’ve seen that investment pay off ten-fold during my time here. I’ve been involved with the Brock Marketing Association, had 12 months of work experience through the Co-op program, won competitions (Monster Pitch, JDCC, Grant Dobson, CEO for One Month, etc.), received support for growing my business through BioLinc, attended networking and industry conferences, played volleyball intramurals and volunteered for community events through the Brock Leaders Citizenship Society. These things have challenged me to develop personally and professionally.”

Olivia is also a successful student entrepreneur and has been running “Olivia’s Pupadise”, an in-home, personalized pet care service, since 2015. However, her success has not been limited to the Brock community. In March 2018, Olivia was one of only 18 students across Canada chosen to participate in the CEOx1Day program where she had the opportunity to shadow Paul Parisi, CEO of Paypal Canada. Following this, she was also chosen to participate in the CEO for One Month program and spent June 2018 shadowing and being mentored by Adecco Group Canada President Gilbert Boileau and the rest of the Adecco Canada leadership team.
