Purpose of Media Collection At Brockton, we are proud to celebrate the achievements, daily activities, and memorable milestones of our community. To share these wonderful stories with our school community and prospective families, we frequently capture photos, videos, and audio recordings of students during classes, special events, sporting/activity events, field trips, performances, and more. This document outlines how these media assets are utilized and managed, and requests your formal consent for their use. Scope of Media Usage By granting media consent, you authorize Brockton to feature your child's image, likeness, and voice, across various communications channels including but not necessarily limited to: ● Official Social Media Platforms: This includes, but is not limited to, the school's official Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn accounts. ● Digital Advertising & Web Presence: The official Brockton website, digital newsletters, email campaigns, and online promotional advertisements. ● Print Advertising & Publications: Official school brochures, annual magazines, yearbooks, event flyers, direct mailers, and features in local print newspapers or magazines. We leverage a broad mix of traditional, digital, and out-of-home media channels to maximize reach and drive engagement. Our promotional efforts frequently generate earned media coverage and feature across major regional and national news networks and television programs. ● Video Production: Promotional videos, educational showcases, and event recap reels hosted publicly or shared during school presentations. ● Toddle: Toddle is our curriculum mapping and digital portfolio tool. For parents they only need to worry about the portfolio piece but basically they can see photos and videos that teachers upload. There are pictures of students though they are only visible to either the parents of the child OR they can be visible to the parents of the whole class

Important Privacy Considerations ● Name Protection: As a general Marketing and Communications policy, we do not publish students' last names on public social media channels or digital advertising alongside their photos unless specific, separate permission is granted for a special feature (e.g., a major award). ● Revocability: You may update or revoke this consent at any time by contacting marketing@brocktonschool.com. However, please note that revoking consent cannot retroactively remove media already published in printed materials during the current school year, and/or past school years. ● Internal Systems Excluded: Checking "No" to this form does not prevent your child's photo from being used for essential internal security systems, student ID cards, the secure internal student information system and the like.. ● Secure Storage & Access: Photos taken are restricted to authorized personnel for official purposes only. Parent/Guardian Media Consent Declaration By granting consent, you permit Brockton to use your child’s image and video in digital advertising, print publications, and social media platforms (such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn). If consent is not granted, your child’s image or video will not be used in any public-facing promotional or social media materials, and they will be excluded from public celebratory posts and marketing efforts.
