BIKE
The biker's heart may feel right at home in the city, but what would biking be without cool trails in the mountains? The local mountain of Brixen is a meeting point for everyone and everything. From the valley station you can take the gondola lift up to 2,000 metres, where the view of the Dolomites is unbeatable and scenic forest roads lead to huts with delicious food. In 2018 the Brixen Bikepark on Plose opened its lines, the work of the Whistler makers Gravity Logic. City and mountain - Brixen and the Plose offer everything you need for a biking holiday.
BRIXEN AND THE PLOSE You want a break? Brixen with its historical old town and the surrounding mountains offers everything you need for biking. It is the first rewarding bike hotspot for mountain bikers south of the Brenner Pass. Besides fantastic tours and trails, the South Tyrolean way of life, relaxed locals and sunny weather from April to November await you here. Brixen is easy going, friendly and open. Sunny gardens and cozy river banks are as much a part of Bressanone as delicious white wine from the region, an ice-cream or a great pizza. Because one thing must not be missed out here: enjoyment. The highlight of the chilly flair are extensive bike tours with the local guides, cool camps and the MOUNTAINBIKE Testival in September.

EXPLORING SOUTH TYROL BY BIKE
Kaltern a.d.W. Caldaro s.S.d.V
We love cycling! And that's why there's nothing better than to explore South Tyrol by bike! Because of its central location, Brixen fits perfectly into the South Tyrolean cycle path network and is considered the hub of the South Tyrolean cycle paths as well as the Munich-Venice long-distance cycle trail. The cycle paths are suitable for trekking bikes, e-bikes, mountain bikes as well as road bikes. If you don't have your own bike with you or are just planning a small unexpected tour, you can rent a suitable bike from “Südtirol Rad” - and return it at any of their rental stations in South Tyrol. You can then return to Brixen by public transport, used free of charge with the BrixenCard.

Lines in the Brixen Bikepark Jerry Line 11.07. – 04.10.2020 The Jerry Line is ideal for beginners and kids. Jerry, the creator of the line, has never built it too steep, never too rough and never too tight. There are only 300 meters of difference in elevation from the trailhead to the trailend, but in between are 4,2 km trail fun for the whole family. Hammer Line 11.07. – 04.10.2020 Thanks to a few jumps and some nice back and forth action, the Hammer Line guarantees airtime and variety at a length of 1,9 km and 165 meters in height. The line is the shortest one in the Brixen Bikepark, but awesome fun indeed.

Palm Pro Line 11.07. – 04.10.2020 The Palm Pro Line is hand built from top to bottom and a dream for fans of difficult lines. The line challenges advanced riders with some features, jumps and steeper passages. The name stands for the breathtaking view from Palmschoß facing the UNESCO world heritage of the Dolomites. Sky Line 13.06. – 01.11.2020 The Sky Line is the longest line in the park. It is well and truly fast, due to its length demanding in terms of fitness, and it requires good control. The line starts at the mountain station Plose and leads over nearly 1000 meters down to the valley station. The benefit: a breathtaking panoramic view to Brixen.
