St. Petersburg, Florida 2018 - 2019 A corporate headquarters moved to downtown St. Petersburg, and I was the lead designer on the project. The project was completed in 2019. The client is a tech company with a wide-range of employee ages. I wanted to cater to both the employee’s personal work preferences as well as their functional needs in the work place. Through the space plan, I created a variety of work spaces, such as benching stations, closed/open collaboration rooms, casual lounge areas, and open balconies. To attract and retain employees, this client wanted to give an assortment of amenities to their employees, such as a large break area, coffee bar, game area in their lobby, and a wellness room.

2 Residential St. Petersburg, Florida 2015
In the middle of downtown St. Petersburg sits this beautiful penthouse condominium with 27’ high ceilings. The client requested an elegant, feminine space that incorporated natural materials throughout the loft style residence. A warm interior was created with wood finishes on the floor, wall, and ceiling. This warmth was contrasted with white marble and white painted walls. The master bedroom has a custom ceiling created by a drywall beam pattern. This ceiling forms a lower, more personal space within a voluminous home. This renovation won two first place Aurora Awards in 2016 for “Best Renovated or Restored Single Home” and “Best Interior Detailing.”

This space includes updated finishes in the front reception area and building standard finishes in the back of house spaces.

Residential Arden, North Carolina 2015
This luxury home is located in the mountains of Arden, North Carolina. On the lower level, I designed a bar, living area, recreation room, and game room. I specified fabrics and finishes to highlight the colors of the surrounding mountain views. On the second level, I designed a custom wine cellar to store and display bottles from the family’s wine collection. Floor Plan Not to Scale

Building Repositioning St. Petersburg, Florida 2017 - 2019
This 26-story iconic building in St. Petersburg was in desperate need of a renovation. My team created a “Mindful Modernization of the Lobby to revitalize the space while highlighting specific existing conditions. I worked with the graphics team to create renderings of the Lobby. This entailed initial presentations to the graphics team and continued coordination to ensure that the rendering portray the finishes and space correctly. Along with Building Repositioning, Nelson is also the Architect of Record for this building. I would upkeep all CAD media, created marketing diagrams, lease exhibits, schematics, and parceling options for the landlord and leasing team. Within the tenant floors, I created speculative suite and tenant improvement CD sets. As Architect of Record, my team was a strategic partner with the landlord and leasing team to assist with leasing out the space.
