PIN K S ANDS COLLECTION One long summer ago, I wandered onto an island of pink sands. I had been reminded that an old friend was now living in this remote spot. As this island is only half a mile wide and three long, it did not take much detective work to find David. I walked into the small hotel he was managing. It was a warm afternoon, siesta hour, but our Casablanca moment.

As the months rolled into years, David and I began to understand that our island life is a combination of our traditional British pasts and our richly flavored Caribbean present, all mixed up with our own eccentricities.

This collection captures that – languid afternoons, swaying palm trees, turquoise waters and the pink sands at the heart of it all.
