Over the past five years the School has engaged in one of the largest building improvement programmes in its 65 year history. We create inspiring spaces in which to learn. Here are six key site developments that lead to better learning:
Junior School Campus

1. It isn’t glamorous but it makes a massive difference to learning when it is warm! The Junior School air cooling project completed in Spring 2017.
1. Kett Building. This multi-purpose space is enjoyed by the whole community. It gives us the space we need to celebrate our many talents. Project completed 2019. 2. Education is as much about looking out as looking in. The Braille building windows were replaced making our building more energy efficient and far less draughty! Project completed in Summer 2018.
2. One of the most heavily used areas of the site, the green pitch gives opportunities for both learning and play. Project completed in Summer 2018. 3.We live in a connected world and we need speedy access to make the most of digital learning. Our super-fast wi-fi infrastructure project was completed in Summer 2017.
3. A well-used library is the beating heart of a school. This summer we will replace the aging library façade. It will be an inspirational learning space. Project scheduled to be completed in July 2019.
There have been many other projects but these six projects give a clear indication of our commitment to providing the very best learning environment for our pupils. We can only do this with your continued support. Alongside this investment in bricks and mortar we maintain a staff to student ratio of 7:1. We never lose sight of the fact that education is a human process.
