School Fees 2018-2019 The British School of Paris endeavours to offer an inclusive fee. Our fee includes educational materials such as textbooks and exercise books, extra-curricular activities and school lunch. Many school trips are also included in the fee. Where overnight trips are planned an additional charge may be made. Some educational support services are also charged for in addition to the basic fee. School Fees

Bus Service Parents are required to pay the full annual fee should they choose to use the school bus service. Fees will only be reimbursed if parents inform us of their intention to stop using the service in the first term. Educational Support Fee Structure 2018-2019 (For additional and specialist provision) Programmes and Charges The programmes outlined below carry a supplementary charge in addition to the core tuition fees. English as an Additional Language (EAL) o Specialist additional and different support for pupils entering the Junior School or Key Stage 3 (Years 7, 8 and 9) in the Senior School with little or no English. o

Specialist additional and different support for students entering KS3 or Year 12 whose English needs improving

Five Hour EAL programme in the Junior School. Taught in a small group, pupils are withdrawn from class for five hours each week. Available from Year 1 – Year 6. Two Hour EAL programme in the Junior School. Taught in a small group, pupils are withdrawn from class for two hours each week. Available from Year 1 – Year 6. Two hour EAL programme in KS3 or Year 12. Taught in a small group, pupils are withdrawn from certain classes for two hours per week.

Means of Payment Payment of Fees Subject to agreement from the Director of Finance, either one third of the fees can be paid by the first day of each term, or one tenth from September to June. Fees must be paid by bank transfer, direct debit or by cheque by the first day of the first term to 'The British School of Paris' and sent to the Administrative Office located on the Senior School campus. Any bank charges must be borne by the payer. If fees are not paid by the required date, the School reserves the right to charge interest, to request the withdrawal of a student or to withdraw tuition. Departure One half term’s notice in writing, addressed to the Registrar, is required when withdrawing pupils to avoid one term’s fees in lieu.
