Educational Support Fee Structure 2018/2019 Educational Support is the overall term used for: •
English as an Additional Language (EAL) o
Support for pupils coming into the Junior School or Key Stage 3 (Years 7, 8 and 9) in the Senior School with little or no English.
o •
Support for students coming into Year 12 (aged 16 or 17) whose English needs improving
Learning Support o
For students with specific learning difficulties in either the Senior or the Junior School
o
For students needing support in a particular area, eg numeracy or literacy, in either the Senior or the Junior School
Programmes and Charges The programmes outlined below carry a supplementary charge in addition to the core tuition fees. All charges shown are annual. 1
English as an Additional Language (EAL) Junior School i. Five Hour EAL programme in the Junior School.
Taught in a small group, pupils are
withdrawn from class for five hours each week. Available from Year 1 – Year 6
