The British School of Marbella opened in August 2010 in Marbella town centre. Currently we offer classes from Pre-Nursery – Year 3 and will expand each year consecutively. The school is a part of The British Schools Group and is one of two schools open here in Spain, the other being The British School of Navarra.

The group also operates schools in China (British School of Guangzhou & British School of Nanjing), Malaysia (British School of Kuala Lumpur) and Eastern Europe(International School of Moscow and the British School of Tashkent). Since the group started in 2003 it soon gained a reputation of excellence, which has led to it’s considerable growth.

The ideal candidate should be an experienced Foundation Stage or Key Stage One Teacher with at least 3 years experience. It would also be beneficially if an additional subject can be offered in the fields of Music or P.E. Our school is committed to providing a British Education of the highest quality to our students. All applicants should therefore be fully qualified and have at least three years relevant experience of teaching within either Foundation Stage or Key Stage One This post is a permanent contract for the August 2011 academic year for someone with the right qualities. We offer a competitive salary for a qualified teacher.

The successful applicant will be expected to participate fully in the development of a rapidly expanding school.

Teachers will be expected to become a valued member of the whole school team and participate fully in all school activities.

All our teachers enjoy delightful working conditions, with small class sizes, well resourced classrooms equipped with an interactive white board and full time teaching assistants.

We are located in the centre of Marbella, which is a city in Andalusia, Spain, by the Mediterranean, situated in the province of Mรกlaga. The area is also served by the A7 autovia and the closest airport is at Mรกlaga.
