Get Me Out Of Here!
What can we say…
You have all worked incredibly hard to achieve this fantastic performance today. From those who asked for a few lines to those who have managed to learn a large chunk of text. From those playing different roles to those who opened each scene. From those who sang solos to those who danced in the aisles. You have all contributed to this amazing performance. Some of you have learnt new skills, some of you have stepped out of your comfort zone, some of you have gained in confidence and some of you have worked in new groups and established new friendships. However, all of you have created memories to last you into Secondary School and beyond.
Well done on your amazing performance! A performance we hope your parents will never forget. A performance we secretly hope the parents shed a tear in, whether that was laughter (like us at times during rehearsals) or tears (how has my child grown up so quickly? Where has the time gone?).

We are all very proud and hope to see lots of you on the stage again next year!
The Year 6 Team

Miss Killham, Mrs Doganay, Mr Kain, Miss Catalina and Miss Valentina
First of all, I wish to say a massive thank you to all members of Year 6 who performed on stage. At times the rehearsals were stressful and frustrating, silly and funny. They were also smooth, stress-free and wonderful. You pulled off an amazing performance - one that I will always remember, especially as I can’t get ‘Lumpy Custard’ out of my head!
I also want to thank Miss Goppert and all the mini chefs in Year 6 for providing us with an amazing selection of food and drinks. I hope the parents enjoyed the pre-performance refreshments.

Thank you to all parents, teachers, grandparents, siblings, neighbours and friends for taking time out of your busy day to sit back, relax and enjoy the wonderful show. I hope you cried a little, laughed a lot and were entertained a lot.

Finally, I want to thank the behind the scenes team, if it wasn’t for you, this performance would not have been possible. To…
● The IT department, especially Dan Perec, for helping with the sound system, both today and for all the rehearsals that came before.
● Miss Valentina, for helping with rehearsals whilst on crutches, and with limited movement!

● Miss Catalina, for making the amazing props and for being our prompter and supporting in rehearsals.
● Mr Kain, for directing the production, it was a hard, stressful job!
● Miss Killham, for being the musical director, for taking up a lot of your time to make sure the songs were spot on.

● Myself, for editing the script and pressing stop and play!
● To all the teachers who had a child playing a version of themselves. Fortunately, they were all caricatures and NOT a true representation of the teachers!
I hope you have a wonderful summer!
