The PTA kicked off its social calendar this year with a school BBQ beside the BSB pool in order to offer parents an opportunity to meet and socialise. The turnout was extremely positive, boding well for the many social events planned for the year ahead.
With warm weather in the air, the BSB PE Department made hay while the sun shone, filling the student PE timetable with a number of visits to the school pool. With winter almost upon us, however, the PE curriculum focus now shifts to court, field, and indoor gymnasium sporting activities.
Ever since the introduction of the new DT block, the smell of cakes and cookies, casseroles and curries have permeated the airways of the BSB campus. From Key Stage 1 through Key Stage 5, students have been learning how to slice and dice, to bake, fry and boil with the help of teachers, TAs and parents.
