Right: The only combination to break the 70% barrier in the Petplan Equine Elementary Silver Championship, Emma Dunkley and her own Stanley Grange Heir Supreme have made a successful switch from showing to dressage. Known as Harley, the 11-year-old gelding is now aimed at Advanced Medium.

Below: Ben James made a brilliant debut at the Area Festival Winter Championships to win the Elementary Bronze title on a score of 71.08%. Clapton Banks Primadonna, known as Diva at home, was purchased as a potential broodmare but has helped Ben make the transition from international showjumping to dressage.

Right: In a very tightly contested class, Pippa Reed and Ilar Vincent came out on top with a score that was just 0.05% ahead of second place. The Welsh D, 17-year-old bay gelding is owned by Pippa’s mum Heidi Reed, who also events him.
