POLICE, CRIME & ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR UPDATE 7th - 21st July CRIME OVERVIEW Over the last two weeks, there have been 153 crimes recorded. The crime breakdown is very consistent with previous weeks with theft and public order offences making up the majority of crimes reported. Our figures indicate that crime is approximately 50% down on the

same period last year, this includes the period of lockdown. The figures now include the Old City beat area as many licensed premises fall within this boundary and are part of the City Centre BID. The top crime location is Park Street with five crimes reported. The areas with

the highest reports of Anti Social Behaviour are Cannons Way, Queen Charlotte Street and Queens Square. Most arrests have been made on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (13 arrests), with many offences linked to the night time economy.
