Join us as we celebrate Jane Macon with the Dolph & Janey Briscoe Legacy Award and her extraordinary vision, generosity, and leadership supporting the Briscoe’s mission to keep the stories of the West alive for San Antonio and visitors from around the world.
For more than 40 years, Jane has shaped San Antonio through her trailblazing leadership and commitment to community. As the city’s first female City Attorney, she opened doors for women in law and civic life, setting a powerful example for future generations. Beyond her distinguished legal career, Jane has championed children’s and civil rights, earning numerous honors, including the World Affairs Council’s International Citizen of the Year Award.
Her legacy reflects the spirit of San Antonio as she is bold, compassionate, and community driven. From securing land for the Texas A&M San Antonio campus to strengthening youth programs, Jane has created opportunities and lasting change. As a devoted Briscoe board member, she has enriched our educational and exhibition programs, ensuring that the art, history, and culture of the American West inspire audiences of all ages.
By supporting the Legacy Luncheon, you join us in celebrating the spirit of the West while opening doors of discovery for children, students, and families. Your generosity ensures that every dollar raised directly benefits the Briscoe Western Art Museum’s educational outreach and programming, keeping our mission alive and thriving for generations to come.
