BRISBANE MOTOR MUSEUM
As the kids get older it gets harder and harder to find activities which will entertain and hold their interest for more than five minutes.
Recently we discovered a hidden gem on the northside of Brisbane which fits the bill perfectly –the Brisbane Motor Museum.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE BRISBANE MOTOR MUSEUM A WONDERFUL INTERGENERATIONAL OUTING
Located in Banyo, not far from the Brisbane Airport, is the Brisbane Motor Museum, which is steadily growing in popularity.
Designed to showcase a large range of vehicles, the museum has themed exhibitions which will amuse even the most avid motoring enthusiast. From small and compact cars, to V8’s, sports cars and vehicles from yesteryear, the Brisbane Motor Museum has got you covered.
Rather than be a place to visit once, the museum regularly changes their exhibitions (every two to four months), so returning visitors see something new each time they visit.
A visit to the Brisbane Motor Museum offers something for the whole family. Exhibitions often spark nostalgia for older generations, who can share stories about their first car or the vehicle they brought their newborn home in.
It’s also an opportunity to discuss favourite cars, look at how cars have morphed and changed over the years and explore where cars may end up in the future.
But don’t end your visit in the museum, save time for a delicious sandwich or cold drink at the on-site café, where conversations about what you have seen can continue.
