A Girls Grammar Education

Welcome to Brisbane Girls Grammar School in this very special year, as we mark 150 years of educating and inspiring young women.
Our founding ideal in 1875 was to provide girls with the same educational opportunities as their brothers. Today, our guiding mission is not just academic rigour and learning excellence for which Girls Grammar is renowned. We seek to empower every girl who enters our gates, guiding her to find the freedom and passion to explore, discover and realise her potential.
Our expert and engaged teachers encourage students to embrace the unexpected and become bold and adventurous learners, while also understanding that hard work and determination are the basis on which achievement is built.
Our broad range of co-curricular activities, and focus on individual student care, ensures our girls learn to value all areas of endeavour, emerging as balanced, curious and well-rounded women ready to pursue their dreams and contribute to our society.
Please enjoy this opportunity to explore our School and spend time with our warm, inclusive and passionate community of teachers, students and families.
Principal, Ms Jacinda Euler Welsh
