Inspired by the Hills in San Fransisco and the mature redwoods of Big Sur, California, vertical and diagonal linework will aid in physical and social dimensions of the environment.

Color will create a sensory experience that optimizes productivity, drives innovation, and will support attraction and retention. Alignment, size, and texture will define importance and improve space utilization. The use of unique elements in the design will create contrast and allow the users to flow naturally through space, and help build a community.

OUR MISSION... was to create a florist retail environment that showcases the flowers and transforms them into art. The design process is simplified through integrated technoloy and instant accessibility between customers and employees.

THE GALLERY FORMAT... is not only for the customers experience, but for the employees as well. Their arrangements are displayed like works of art, creating self-fulfillment for the employees who made the designs.

SOCIALIZATION The arrangement bar and point of sale space are located by each other for easy communication. The space for customers to socialize is near the front of the store, making it easy for people walking by to see the people inside and encourage socialization and entrance into the store.

DECISION-MAKING ROUTE The different parts needed to make a floral design are arranged on shelves based on the order of the steps in designing. It is arranged for both employees and customers to easily make decisions. Placements of final arrangements are close to the arrangement bar and the back door for easy communication between designer and delivery roles.
