BASEKAMP TAKES OFF ACROSS BRINKMANN! Brinkmann launches foundational training program basecamp - (n) — a main encampment providing supplies, shelter, and communications for persons engaged in wide-ranging activities While Brinkmann’s new foundational training program, Basekamp, isn’t literally a camp, it certainly fits the definition as a place where our employees can gather the basics to set them up for success, now and for the future. When Bob Brinkmann started his career 50 years ago, Dale Carnegie training taught him vital foundational skills and behaviors that have guided him throughout his legendary career. Now, Brinkmann’s Basekcamp training will bring this important foundational learning to all Brinkmann employees. As Basekamp sessions approach, here’s what to expect: TIME MANAGEMENT: We’re all busy, but there are some tried and true techniques that can help us prioritize and manage our time a little better. The digital app “Microsoft To Do” will help us all with time management. Make sure you download this app before your Basekamp session. STRESS & STORYTELLING: Using some aspects of Dale Carnegie’s “How to Stop Worrying and Start Living,” this training will focus on how to take the stress and worry out of our fast-paced world. “HOW TO WIN FRIENDS AND INFLUENCE PEOPLE”: Dale Carnegie training and

Download the app “Dale Carnegie Golden Book” to help with this training. DiSC ASSESSMENT: How do you behave or communicate in various situations? The DiSC Assessment will tell you! Your results will help guide this section of training as well as come in handy in your work at Brinkmann! To make the best of your Basekamp training, complete the pre-work and download the resources beforehand. And most importantly, come to your session with an open mind, a positive attitude and HAVE FUN!
