Application and Smart installation Guide This table is a guide only. It indicates the number of devices that can connect to and control a standard home/business installation.

Each router is different and it is advised that you check specifications to learn the number of devices that can connect to your model first.

Devices include mobile phones, tablets, computers, smart TVs, gaming consoles and other Smart WiFi devices.

Nexus Gateway controls your WiFi, Mesh, IR and Zigbee devices. It is not an access point or extend your WiFi capability. The number of WiFi devices connected is dependent on your router. (See page 4 of the BrilliantSmart brochure for further information.)

For multiple room applications where your IR devices require line-of-sight, an additional Nexus Home Lite is needed in each corresponding room.

Colour Coding on Graph Orange indicates a greater number of WiFi devices can be connected by upgrading your network with additional access points or by upgrading your router/modem.

Bluetooth Mesh Bluetooth Mesh products can be controlled via the BrilliantSmart app. For greater functionality a Bluetooth Mesh Gateway is required. Each gateway can connect up to 64 Bluetooth Mesh devices. (See page 14 of the BrilliantSmart brochure for further information.)

IFTTT, or If This Then That, is a simple automation platform for linking digital services and smart devices through instruction sets known as Applets. Applets are a group of actions that link two different devices or services – one event that triggers an action – hence the "If This Then That".

IFTTT does all the behind-the-scenes work without you having to remember it again. You can also turn Applets on and off and edit and share them with the IFTTT community.

IFTTT is compatible with an extensive range of services, ranging from email, date and time scheduling and location tracking to popular platforms like Skype, Dropbox and eBay. Some other services are Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Spotify, Soundcloud, Weather Underground.

They can serve to be functional or fun, but most importantly, they make tasks possible with hands-free technology.

HANDY HINTS TO SETUP A SENSOR LIGHT • Best results are achieved when movement is across the scanning beam, rather than directly towards or away from it. Select a mounting position where detection will occur across the scanning area.

• Your Brilliant LED security floodlight should be mounted 1.8 to 2.5 metres above the selected area. The sensor detection area can vary depends on mounting height and location.

• The detection range of your sensor may alter with changes in temperature.

• DO NOT direct the sensor towards the sun.

• To avoid nuisance detection, your sensor light should be directed away from sources of heat such as barbecues, air conditioners, outside lighting, moving cars or flue vents.

• To avoid nuisance detection, your sensor light should be kept away from sources of strong electromagnetic disturbances.

• DO NOT direct your sensor towards reflective surfaces such as swimming pools and spas, white walls etc.
