BRILLIANT’S ALL-SEASONS TECHNOLOGY

FOR USE ALL YEAR ROUND.
All Seasons technology allows you to change the direction the fan blades spin giving you the option to use your fan in Summer and Winter.
In Summer mode the air flows down and creates a breeze to create a cooling effect on your body. Winter mode is best used on a low speed as the aim is not to create airflow, but rather, to gently push down the hottest air in the room. By bringing the warm air down from the ceiling, you can set thermostat to a lower temperature to still obtain a comfortable and warm environment whilst also saving on your heating costs.
Note: All energy saving and air movement data is produced by an accredited test lab. In home results may vary depending on circumstances and installation.

ROOM SIZE
What is the right airflow for your room size? In short, airflow is the measurement of air movement generated by the fan, our published figures are based on the highest and lowest speeds of our fans to highlight speeds intended for different spaces and uses.
Selecting the right fan should be based on application rather than a fan with the highest air movement. To give you an idea, with a bedroom ceiling fan you would prefer a gentle breeze. This would mean bedroom ceiling fans are generally set to the lowest speeds, so they don’t need to be high airflow fans.
In larger spaces, or if the fan will be installed in a room with a higher ceiling, then a fan with a high airflow would be more suited.

AC stands for alternating current, meaning the electrical flow changes direction 50 times a second in order to provide a constant flow compared to a DC fan that has a variable, uneven flow.
AC ceiling fans have the options to change to a variety of controllers (wall or remote type).
AC fans can use a simple wall controller and are often easier to operate.

DC FAN vs AC FAN WALL CONTROLLERS
AC ceiling fans are normally operated via a wall controller, where as DC ceiling fans can only be operated via an RF remote control. They can also be controlled using the Standard
Remote control 99999, LCD model 99222, Wi-Fi model 99111 and Touch model 88888.

PRODUCT TYPE
The warranted use of fans outdoors are limited to enclosed alfresco like areas where conditions are similar to indoor installations.
The warranty conditions for fans installed in enclosed alfresco areas are as follows:
• Fan must be shielded from wind and rain (enclosed area, minimum 1.5m from edge of eave/roof).
• The warranty will cover open circuit motor faults, and remote control faults if not related to outdoor exposure.
• The warranty will not cover outdoor related issues such as rusting, or failure clearly caused by water, moisture or wind.
• The warranty will not cover external appearance or finish of any part of the ceiling fan.
• The warranty will not cover wooden blades. These are recommended only to be used indoors.
The warranty does not cover Ripple Control noise/interference (identified by a periodic or intermittent hum and light flickering). This must be addressed with your energy service provider. The warranty does not cover noises or faults due to poor installation or failure to balance fans as per instructions.
