September 30 - October 6

October 7 - 13

ARIES – Mar 21/Apr 20

Someone is not telling you the entire story, Aries. However, you will find a way to fill in the missing details. What you learn will come as a big surprise. TAURUS – April 21/May 21 Taurus, reach out to friends and family members for some support. A helping hand always can lift the spirits, and those closest to you will be happy to help. GEMINI – May 22/Jun 21 Gemini, you are strong and determined, so the obstacles that arise this week will be no match for you. Just keep up the positive thinking and you will prevail. CANCER – June 22/July 22 Cancer, this week is not the time to harbor secrets. It's a good policy to always be open and honest with the people with whom you interact on a regular basis. LEO – July 23/August 23 Leo, allow a friend to be the center of attention so he or she can enjoy his or her moments in the sun at an upcoming social event. Your magnetism can be addicting. VIRGO – Aug 24/Sept 22 Virgo, all that time and effort you put into past projects is certainly paying off now. It probably feels good to be back in the game and going along successfully. LIBRA – Sept 23/Oct 23 Libra, you are ready to take a leap of faith, but make sure your parachute is on before you do so. Sometimes you tend to err on the side of risky. SCORPIO – Oct 24/Nov 22 Scorpio, sometimes you take on too much. But you have a funny way of making it all work out. You will find this to be the case with a situation that presents itself this week. SAGITTARIUS – Nov 23/Dec 21 Sagittarius, if you keep pushing someone to their limits you may not be happy with the results. It might be a better plan to go with a softer method of inspiration. CAPRICORN – Dec 22/Jan 20 Capricorn, you are ready for a change, but haven't zeroed in on just what to do as of yet. A deep conversation later this week just might reveal all of the answers. AQUARIUS – Jan 21/Feb 18 It's best to act while your motivation is high, Aquarius. Otherwise you are prone to extended periods of inactivity. Make the most of your productive moments. PISCES – Feb 19/Mar20 Pisces, you serve as educator this week, and it suits you just fine. It boosts your spirits to help others in unique ways.

Thinking outside of the box is what sets you apart from most, Aries. When you are put to the test, you seldom fail to come through. This is a good selling point with potential employers. TAURUS – April 21/May 21 Taurus, some people just don't understand you, and that is OK with you. It can be good to be a bit mysterious, especially when it comes to romance. GEMINI – May 22/Jun 21 Analyzing spending and other financial concerns should be at the top of your priority list, Gemini. It is always a good idea to keep on top of where your money is going. CANCER – June 22/July 22 Cancer, communication is key if you want to make real progress. Actions can be misconstrued if you don't accompany them with some thorough explanations. LEO – July 23/August 23 Others could find your enthusiasm infectious this week, Leo. Don't be surprised if you have coworkers signing up to be on your team. At home you're much more mellow. VIRGO – Aug 24/Sept 22 Virgo, achieving your toughest goal won't be easy. Those who survive the challenges become stronger overall. This week you are certainly put to the test. LIBRA – Sept 23/Oct 23 Libra, big plans are in place, and you can be excited about the prospect for some change. Make a few adjustments each day and the transition will go smoothly. SCORPIO – Oct 24/Nov 22 Scorpio, don't let others underestimate your abilities. Once you set your mind to something, it is very hard to direct you otherwise. Capitalize on your dedication at work. SAGITTARIUS – Nov 23/Dec 21 Sagittarius, you are ready to pull out all of the stops in the romance department. Whether you're single or attached, focus on ways to make your partner feel very special. CAPRICORN – Dec 22/Jan 20 Capricorn, a few things have gone wrong lately, but the good thing is you haven't let them get you down. Good things certainly come to those who are patient. AQUARIUS – Jan 21/Feb 18 Aquarius, take inventory of your belongings and determine if there's anything you can donate. You can clear out clutter and do something positive at the same time. PISCES – Feb 19/Mar20 Pisces, things seem out of sorts, but you haven't been able to figure out what is offkilter. Leo may shed light on the situation.

October 14 - 20

October 21 - 27

ARIES – Mar 21/Apr 20

Aries, you may need some creative strategies to clear up some conflicts in your schedule this week. You must be quite popular since you have so much going on. TAURUS – April 21/May 21 Taurus, there's so much to get done this week that you may not know where to begin. Making a list of your responsibilities may help you get organized.

Aries, do not be discouraged if a few things do not go right for you this week. Most people learn from their mistakes or challenges, and you will find a silver lining in this. TAURUS – April 21/May 21 Taurus, reflect on special times in your life because they can bring happiness. Whenever you feel a tad stressed this week, think positively and know that this, too, shall pass. GEMINI – May 22/Jun 21 Gemini, you may be a party animal this week if the social opportunities arise. Just keep your head at all times and remember to celebrate in a responsible way. CANCER – June 22/July 22 Cancer, many ideas are floating through your head, but nothing will come to fruition unless you write something down and start some action. LEO – July 23/August 23 Leo, when you have doubts about making purchases or splurging financially, trust your gut instinct and you will be alright. You will have a good meeting on Tuesday. VIRGO – Aug 24/Sept 22 Virgo, it can be hard to concentrate when you are being pulled in so many directions. You need to designate special times to handle all tasks so you can stay organized. LIBRA – Sept 23/Oct 23 Sometimes taking a risk is necessary to get ahead, Libra. Now is not the time to take risks, however, Play it very conservatively for the next few weeks and then rethink your options. SCORPIO – Oct 24/Nov 22 Just when you seem to be coasting along successfully, a few minor bumps may spring up, Scorpio. They won't be enough to derail your plans, however. SAGITTARIUS – Nov 23/Dec 21 Sagittarius, there will be plenty of times for laughter this week, as you seem to cause giggles everywhere you go. It feels good to boost people's spirits. CAPRICORN – Dec 22/Jan 20 Capricorn, a large purchase has been on your mind, but until now you may not have been able to do anything about it. Put out feelers and test the water in the next few days. AQUARIUS – Jan 21/Feb 18 Plenty of opportunities for social gatherings arise now that you have made a few new friends, Aquarius. Show them you're always willing to have a good time. PISCES – Feb 19/Mar20 You don't have to share every detail to be an honest person, Pisces. It is sometimes advantageous to keep some things personal.

GEMINI – May 22/Jun 21

Gemini, you may be on the fence about making a large purchase, but the stars indicate that now could be a good time to buy and things will work in your favor financially.

CANCER – June 22/July 22

Cancer, instead of rushing along through the daily grind, take some time to slow down and enjoy the scenery along the way. This will help you clear your head and relax.

LEO – July 23/August 23

Leo, the weekend will not be fun unless you finish up all of your work at the office. Don't procrastinate and leave all the difficult tasks until next week.

VIRGO – Aug 24/Sept 22

Virgo, there are serious things to consider with respect to your family life, and not all of the conversations will go your way. Be patient and work through everything a little at a time.

LIBRA – Sept 23/Oct 23

Libra, whether feedback from work is positive or negative, rest assured that hard work will ultimately garner some recognition. Keep working hard and all will work out.

SCORPIO – Oct 24/Nov 22

No one is going to know how you feel unless you speak up, Scorpio. Don't slink into the shadows; get out in the open and have your voice heard.

SAGITTARIUS – Nov 23/Dec 21

Projects around the house seem to grow with every passing day, Sagittarius. If you do not think you can get them all done on your own, it may be time to hire a professional.

CAPRICORN – Dec 22/Jan 20

Experiencing car troubles, Capricorn? This may be the ideal time to go shopping for a new vehicle. A new ride can lift your spirits and put to rest those fears about your current vehicle.

AQUARIUS – Jan 21/Feb 18

Don't work yourself silly, Aquarius. It's good to be productive and companyminded, but not if it comes at the price of your health. Recharge before you tackle anything else.

PISCES – Feb 19/Mar20

Pisces, while it can be challenging to sit idle, lazy days are very often great ways to catch up on some rest and personal time.

October 28 - November 3 ARIES – Mar 21/Apr 20 Aries, you may have to put a little more effort into your relationship to really reap the rewards. It doesn't matter if you just met or have been together for years. Amp up your efforts. TAURUS – April 21/May 21 There is turmoil in your financial sector, Taurus. But all it takes is some discipline and budgeting and you can be right back on track in no time at all. GEMINI – May 22/Jun 21 It's time to get creative, Gemini. Maybe you are planning a party that can use an interesting theme or thinking ahead to holiday shopping. Think outside of the box. CANCER – June 22/July 22 Cancer, embrace your childish side and let loose. Sometimes it can feel great to shake off responsibility for the time being and just act like a kid with no worries. LEO – July 23/August 23 Leo, err on the side of caution this week; otherwise you may see too much money flying out of your wallet. Get into a saving mode instead of a spending one for the time being. VIRGO – Aug 24/Sept 22 Virgo, now is not the time to make any big changes that could rock the boat. Enjoy the solid foundation that you have built for a few more weeks. LIBRA – Sept 23/Oct 23 Libra, the choices you are making may temporarily sever a few of your relationships. While this may hurt now, there's a good chance you will mend fences in the long run. SCORPIO – Oct 24/Nov 22 Scorpio, no matter how hard you try, it is not in the stars for you to make a fortune on any get-rich-quick scheme. Focus your energy on different ideas. SAGITTARIUS – Nov 23/Dec 21 Sagittarius, although you may be anxious about some presentation you need to make, it is necessary for advancement at your job. It will be over before you know it. CAPRICORN – Dec 22/Jan 20 Capricorn, get together with Leo and develop a plan that will get your finances in order. Until you sit down and view everything in black and white, things will be in flux. AQUARIUS – Jan 21/Feb 18 Aquarius, although work may be giving you headaches, stick with it for the time being because there could be some major changes on the horizon that work to your advantage. PISCES – Feb 19/Mar20 Pisces, spend the early part of the week really buckling down to get things done and the latter part can be enjoyed any way you want.

FUN BY THE NUMBERS Like puzzles? Then you’ll love sudoku. This mind-bending puzzle will have you hooked from the moment you square off, so sharpen your pencil and put your sudoku savvy to the test! HERE’S HOW IT WORKS: Sudoku puzzles are formatted as a 9x9 grid, broken down into nine 3x3 boxes. To solve a sudoku, the numbers 1 through 9 must fill each row, column and box. Each number can appear only once in each row, column and box. You can figure out the order in which the numbers will appear by using the numeric clues already provided in the boxes. The more numbers you name, the easier it gets to solve the puzzle.

Winning Ideas For Your Tailgaging Season (NAPS)—For many, football season means tailgating and that’s no accident. Fans have enjoyed the two of them together, literally since the beginning. It’s believed the first documented tailgating event took place in 1869 during a football game between Princeton University and Rutgers University—the first collegiate football game on record. Although tailgating has come a long way since then, the practice still centers on one key element— sharing food with friends before the “big event”—whether that’s a game, a concert or even another party. Doing it Your Way Everybody has his or her favorite tailgate traditions. For some, tailgating is all about grilling. Others prefer the picnic approach, with appetizers, sandwiches and salads. Regardless of your preference, it’s easy to make your tailgates special this football season. To help, here are some tips from a family-owned company best known for its line of bread products made from their Original Hawaiian Sweet recipe—KING’S HAWAIIAN. The Fun Is in the Bun For many, tailgating is all about the thrill of the grill. However, whether you are featuring hot dogs or hamburgers, it’s important to remember that a lot depends on having the right bun. Whether you are someone who likes to dress your dog with just a spot of mustard or ketchup or you prefer to go all the way on your burger, topping it with tomato, avocado, onion and pickle, never underestimate the importance of the bun. The key is to find a bun designed to keep all your favorite toppings and flavors together in every bite. For example, Original Hawaiian Sweet Hamburger Buns are made to deliver a uniquely soft and fluffy texture with just the right touch of sweetness. These hamburger buns are ideally sized for your signature backyard burger, and perfect for the classic “savory and sweet” combination everyone loves. For the hot dog–lovers at your tailgate, the Hot Dog Buns offer a signature “top-cut” design to keep all your favorite toppings and flavors together in every bite, and are perfect for either hot dogs or grilled sausages. To make things even easier,

Remove popcorn cake balls from freezer. Dip tips of lollipop sticks into candy melts; insert no more than halfway into center of balls. Let sit 3 minutes until set. Dip one ball into melted candy melts to cover completely. Gently tap stick against side of bowl so excess melts drip off. Immediately decorate as desired (candy melts harden quickly). Use white candy melts for ghost (pumpkins/orange, one-eyed purple monsters/purple); miniature chocolate chips for eyes and mouth; shape small piece of chewy chocolate candy for pumpkin stem and attach with candy melt; spread melted white candy melts in center of ball to create monster eye; use blue gel for iris, red gel for veins. Poke sticks into Styrofoam block to dry completely. *You can use 8 oz. white candy melts with oil-based candy color to achieve desired color (purple for One Eyed Purple Monster; orange for Pumpkin).
