December 30 - January 5 ARIES – Mar 21/Apr 20 Aries, there are some things that need to be accomplished this week despite the your reservations. Find a way to make the best of the situation. TAURUS – April 21/May 21 Taurus, enjoy an active week ahead that includes a very busy social schedule. Instead of trying to swim against the tide, let it take you along. GEMINI – May 22/Jun 21 Take care of things on your own this week, Gemini. Others around you will be just as busy, so put your head down and get started on the many tasks at hand. CANCER – June 22/July 22 Sarcasm is not the right approach this week, Cancer. Focus on being amiable to all of the people you interact with the next few days and reap the rewards. LEO – July 23/August 23 Secrets have a funny way of catching up with you, Leo. Although it can be hard to be honest, upcoming situations will work out much more easily if you are. VIRGO – Aug 24/Sept 22 You have no reason to question your confidence this week, Virgo. Give yourself a pep talk to make it through a sticky situation, and things will turn out alright. LIBRA – Sept 23/Oct 23 You are coasting on a high of good fortune, Libra. Don't worry, it isn't going to slow down anytime soon. Enjoy all of the opportunities that come your way. SCORPIO – Oct 24/Nov 22 It takes more than just good ideas to find success, Scorpio. There is also a lot of follow-through and legwork that goes into every scenario. Start working through the particulars. SAGITTARIUS – Nov 23/Dec 21 You won't be able to rest until you solve a problem that has been bugging you, Sagittarius. But the solution won't immediately present itself. CAPRICORN – Dec 22/Jan 20 Sometimes it takes more time and money than it's worth to follow through with something that originally seemed like a good idea. Don't think of it as giving up but redirecting. AQUARIUS – Jan 21/Feb 18 It may take a little more time to work through the long to-do list, but that will make the satisfaction of getting the job done that much more worth it, Aquarius. PISCES – Feb 19/Mar20 Words can be interpreted in many different ways, Pisces. Choose what you say wisely so you don't give anyone the wrong impression.

January 6 -12

January 13 -19

January 20 - 26

ARIES – Mar 21/Apr 20

Aries, you may have to work a little harder to get what you want, but the results will be worth it. Focus your attention on making a name for yourself in the business sector. TAURUS – April 21/May 21 There is no stopping you when you have a goal in mind, Taurus. Although you may be ambitious, just be mindful of other people in your path as you go. GEMINI – May 22/Jun 21 Be honest with your feelings this week, Gemini. Someone close to you is interested in learning more about the way you operate. This could strengthen a friendship. CANCER – June 22/July Don't bite off more than you can chew, Cancer. Otherwise you could be left with a long to-do list and not enough energy to get the job done. Consider paring down tasks. LEO – July 23/August 23 Leo, although you may have rest and recreation on the brain, celestial forces are pushing you in the opposite direction. Busy days are ahead, so rest later. VIRGO – Aug 24/Sept 22 You have put too much effort into something to abandon your plans now, Virgo. Rethink quitting early on. Maybe a friend can carry you over the finish line. LIBRA – Sept 23/Oct 23 Surround yourself with lots of friends when you cannot have family near, Libra. This will help keep feelings of loneliness from creeping in during quiet moments. SCORPIO – Oct 24/Nov 22 Scorpio, you may need to concede to a difference of opinion this week when you simply cannot resolve something amicably. Redirect attention on a craft or pastime. SAGITTARIUS – Nov 23/Dec 21 Sagittarius, sometimes you tend to be brutally honest with others. While honesty is an admirable trait, this week you may need to censor what you say to avoid hurt feelings. CAPRICORN – Dec 22/Jan 20 Taking a circuitous route will land you at the finish a little behind others, Capricorn. But you will get to the end nevertheless. Trust your instincts with this one. AQUARIUS – Jan 21/Feb 18 Aquarius, you probably won't be able to rest your mind until you square away all of your finances and make a budget for the new year. Take on the job this week. PISCES – Feb 19/Mar20 Introspection leads you on a mini-quest to find a creative outlet, Pisces. Play to your strengths and some ideas will surface.

Aries, your domestic side will come out this week when you decide to play host or hostess to friends or family. You may reveal some surprising skills in the kitchen. TAURUS – April 21/May 21 It will take fast action for you to get something accomplished this week, Taurus. If you blink, the opportunity may pass you by, so get moving.

Aries, patience and calm is the way out of a tricky situation. You also may want to keep your opinions to yourself until everything gets settled, which shouldn't take long. TAURUS – April 21/May 21 Taurus, though you may be pinching pennies that doesn't mean you cannot make a purchase that will benefit the household. Make a budget so you'll learn how to spend wisely. GEMINI – May 22/Jun 21 You may need to subscribe to a new way of thinking, Gemini. The way you have been doing things lately is not working out too well. Ask a family member for advice. CANCER – June 22/Jul 22 Cancer, it can be easy to get into a routine and then in a rut. Try switching up just one thing from your daily tasks, and it could provide a breath of fresh air. LEO – July 23/August 23 Leo, take advantage of the many opportunities for you to meet new people and forge new friendships this week. You may just meet someone who changes your life. VIRGO – Aug 24/Sept 22 Virgo, too much of a good thing can make it difficult to focus on other tasks and responsibilities. Make the effort to stay focused so you don't find yourself falling behind. LIBRA – Sept 23/Oct 23 Libra, you will likely find yourself in a domestic groove over the next few days. Use the time to get creative in the kitchen, straighten up the abode and do some decorating. SCORPIO – Oct 24/Nov 22 Scorpio, don't allow your emotions to get the best of you during a disagreement this week. Be sure to gather all of the facts before you form an opinion. SAGITTARIUS – Nov 23/Dec 21 Sagittarius, this is the perfect week to correct any wrong impressions you might have made. Be overly generous with all the people you meet. CAPRICORN – Dec 22/Jan 20 Capricorn, speak up if you don't like the way something is being done. Change can't happen if you don't voice your opinion, so overcome your reservations. AQUARIUS – Jan 21/Feb 18 Aquarius, if you want to broaden your horizons you will have to explore beyond your comfort zone. It may not always be comfortable, but it can be adventurous. PISCES – Feb 19/Mar20 Pisces, you have many questions, but not enough answers are coming your way. Delve a little deeper this week.

GEMINI – May 22/Jun 21

You may need to reconsider your purchasing power, Gemini. Your finances may not be what they seem at this moment, and you could need to play things conservatively.

CANCER – June 22/Jul 22

Cancer, there are a few obstacles you will have to overcome before you can move on to something more enjoyable this week. Make the hard work a priority and the rest will follow.

LEO – July 23/August 23

Maintain the status quo this week, Leo. You may be tempted to do things differently, but going with the flow and not rocking the boat is the best approach this week.

VIRGO – Aug 24/Sept 22

Flexibility will be the key this week, Virgo. If you are able to bend, then you will be much more successful than if you are rigid in your opinions and actions.

LIBRA – Sept 23/Oct 23

Libra, if you find you have been falling behind on things or simply cannot seem to get organized, then it's time to reconsider your approach.

SCORPIO – Oct 24/Nov 22

Scorpio, when party planning is put into your hands, you are right in your element as a natural leader. You are bound to have all of the details perfect.

SAGITTARIUS – Nov 23/Dec 21

Someone could require a pep talk this week, and you are the person for the job, Sagittarius. Figure out ways to downplay any struggles and point out all that this person has accomplished.

CAPRICORN – Dec 22/Jan 20

You may find a turnaround in your financial situation has finally arrived, Capricorn. Just don't spend all of that newfound money in one place. Put some into an account for later.

AQUARIUS – Jan 21/Feb 18

Aquarius, you may need someone to light a fire under you this week. Welcome this effort because once you get going you will be able to accomplish anything.

PISCES – Feb 19/Mar20

Pisces, it may be a challenge to balance work and home life responsibilities this week. Aim for a 60/40 split of requirements.

FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY

January 27 - February 2 ARIES – Mar 21/Apr 20 Aries, you have been living life in the fast lane, but this week you may need to apply the brakes. If you're not careful, you could miss out on some exciting stuff. TAURUS – April 21/May 21 Taurus, someone you know may feel like he or she deserves something that you have. Do not validate any jealousy and take the higher road by not engaging the situation. GEMINI – May 22/Jun 21 Gemini, provide a steady and strong hand to keep someone you love on the right track. It may not be easy to be so supportive, but do what's necessary to help a loved one. CANCER – June 22/July 22 Cancer, although you are very persuasive this week, you should focus all of your attention on selling yourself to others in the workplace. This can make promotion imminent. LEO – July 23/August 23 Leo, you might sense that something isn't quite right this week with a couple of people you know. Don't be shy about asking questions to get to the bottom of the situation. VIRGO – Aug 24/Sept 22 Virgo, it can be difficult to believe the truth sometimes, especially when the news is not what you want to hear. Don't let disagreements cloud common sense. LIBRA – Sept 23/Oct 23 Libra, mixing business and pleasure is not the right approach this week. Avoid starting new romantic relationships with someone in the office and focus on work. SCORPIO – Oct 24/Nov 22 Scorpio, remember that risk may ultimately bring reward when considering an investment opportunity. With this in mind, you may want go out on a limb this week. SAGITTARIUS – Nov 23/Dec 21 Sagittarius, you are on a roll and you probably have no plans to slow down for anyone. Try to slow down and help others if you find yourself with some free time. CAPRICORN – Dec 22/Jan 20 Capricorn, honesty is the best policy but you do not always have to be so forthcoming with your opinions. Employ tact if you are asked for your opinions on certain issues. AQUARIUS – Jan 21/Feb 18 Even a minor disagreement could have you licking your wounds, Aquarius. Don't use this week for sulking. Get back on the horse and dust yourself off. PISCES – Feb 19/Mar20 Pisces, avoid potentially sticky situations this week. It is better to defer to an expert even if it means making a financial investment.

FUN BY THE NUMBERS Like puzzles? Then you’ll love sudoku. This mind-bending puzzle will have you hooked from the moment you square off, so sharpen your pencil and put your sudoku savvy to the test! HERE’S HOW IT WORKS: Sudoku puzzles are formatted as a 9x9 grid, broken down into nine 3x3 boxes. To solve a sudoku, the numbers 1 through 9 must fill each row, column and box. Each number can appear only once in each row, column and box. You can figure out the order in which the numbers will appear by using the numeric clues already provided in the boxes. The more numbers you name, the easier it gets to solve the puzzle.
