Ten Tips On Clearing Out Clutter (NAPSA)-If you’re like most Americans, you’ve lost something valuable because of clutter, according to a recent Harris Interactive survey. The most common thing lost? Important documents and bills. So that you don’t have to deal with such difficulties, here are 10 tips to help you get organized: Tip 10: Start small when starting to declutter. Pick one area or room and sort through your stuff. Purge items no longer used and assign the keepers a place. Tip 9: Keep things orderly. Create zones for certain activities or categories and store all related items in that zone. Tip 8: Have a young family? Make it a game with your kids to

get organized. Create a treasure hunt and you may rediscover items once thought to be lost. Tip 7: Organization needs consistency. Talk to your significant other or roommate about maintaining a united front on keeping things organized.

Tip 6: Enlist help for larger organization efforts. Invite friends over to help clear out clutter; pay them with pizza and cold drinks for their work. Tip 5: Donate duplicate or unwanted items to a charity that can then use your extras to support those in need. Tip 4: Pick your battles. Start with what is manageable, like a closet, and work your way toward larger projects, such as the basement or garage. Tip 3: Create routines. Make it a habit to tackle a new area of the home every month. Tip 2: Put it away now. Done using something? Instead of letting things pile up, put them away immediately. You can have plenty of places to put stuff when you get storage units, shelving and

orga_nization kits from Gladiator GarageWorks. View them all at www.gladiatorgarageworks.com. Tip 1: Enjoy the spoils of victory. Cleaning and organizing is a daunting but rewarding task. Enjoy your accomplishment.

March 3 - 9 ARIES – Mar 21/Apr 20 Finding time to get everything done can be challenging, Aries. Fortunately, you have quite a few supporters in your corner who are willing to lend a helping hand. TAURUS – April 21/May 21 Taurus, difficult decisions take time to mull over. Although you want to properly work through all the scenarios, this week you might not have all the time you need. GEMINI – May 22/Jun 21 Gemini, water rolls off of your back quite easily. However, something tugs at you this week and you may have to give it more thought than you're accustomed to. CANCER – June 22/Jul 22 Cancer, with such a hectic schedule, you may be feeling the pressure. It is not unreasonable to take some time for yourself and focus on your relationship with a spouse or significant other. LEO – July 23/August 23 Sometimes you have to make a few mistakes before you get things right, Leo. Don't let this worry you because you'll get back on the right path soon enough. VIRGO – Aug 24/Sept 22 Virgo, it's important to recognize your way is not always the right way. If you absorb what other people are saying, you might have an easier go of things. LIBRA – Sept 23/Oct 23 Libra, keep the lines of communication open with a loved one. There may be messages coming your way, and you should be ready to receive them. SCORPIO – Oct 24/Nov 22 You may need to break out of your routines this week, Scorpio. Even though you thrive when things are organized, you cannot expect everything to go according to plan. SAGITTARIUS – Nov 23/Dec 21 There are some happy moments in your immediate future, Sagittarius. This will make any difficult days in your recent past seem well worth it. CAPRICORN – Dec 22/Jan 20 Capricorn, now is a good time to get friends or family together for an informal dinner party. Focus your energy on socialization to get away from the daily grind. AQUARIUS – Jan 21/Feb 18 Aquarius, others appreciate all that you do for them, but sometimes they have to do for themselves to learn valuable lessons. This week is a time to step aside. PISCES – Feb 19/Mar20 Pisces, things may seem like they are going to go one way this week, but at the last minute things turn in an entirely different direction.

March 10 - 16

March 17 - 23

March 24 - 30

ARIES – Mar 21/Apr 20

Sorting through feelings may not come easy to you, Aries. At some point it becomes necessary to voice your opinions and you may need to show a vulnerable side. TAURUS – April 21/May 21 Taurus, a few complications could arise this week and how you react to them will be telling of how the rest of the month may proceed. Think about this before you act. GEMINI – May 22/Jun 21 Gemini, this week is likely to be a wash because there is something that came up that has the potential to dominate all of your time for the next several days. CANCER – June 22/Jul 22 Cancer, though you may be anxious to help a friend out, you need to seriously consider whether you have the time to spare at this point in time. Putting yourself first is priority. LEO – July 23/August 23 Leo, someone is going to open up to you emotionally and you may get caught off guard by the level of intimacy. This could turn out to be the start of a long-lasting friendship. VIRGO – Aug 24/Sept 22 Virgo, let a particular situation cool down instead of adding extra fuel to the fire. Step away from a heated discussion if you feel like things may get out of control. LIBRA – Sept 23/Oct 23 Libra, your heart may beat a little faster this week because of the excitement involved in meeting someone that has been on your mind. Be patient. SCORPIO – Oct 24/Nov 22 Scorpio, continue to discuss a financial situation with your significant other. Even if the discussion grows tiresome, talking it out is the best way to resolve the issue. SAGITTARIUS – Nov 23/Dec 21 Sagittarius, you have an uncanny way of turning something that would normally be disastrous into enjoyable chaos. Think about a side career in party planning. CAPRICORN – Dec 22/Jan 20 Capricorn, big changes are in store for your family and there are nerves to accompany these changes. Set aside a day this week where you can have peace, quiet and time to reflect. AQUARIUS – Jan 21/Feb 18 Aquarius, your words are being heard but their meaning is simply not sinking in. Try rephrasing or approach the situation from another direction. PISCES – Feb 19/Mar20 Pisces, your social schedule is jam-packed and you wouldn't have it any other way. There may be a pocket of time for more fun.

Are you ready for surprises, Aries? If not, loosen up a little bit because there is a little excitement in store for you. It will come when you least expect it. TAURUS – April 21/May 21 You may need an extra dose of patience this week, Taurus. Some difficult tasks are ahead and you will be in charge of getting things back to normal.

Aries, a mountain of responsibility has put pressure on you. Although you cannot shy away from what has to be done, you can put a smile on your face when tackling your tasks. TAURUS – April 21/May 21 Taurus, something special will take place in the next few days and you will be on hand to experience all of it. Magical moments are to be made with a romantic partner. GEMINI – May 22/Jun 21 Gemini, you may want to think before you speak when a friend asks for advice. The truth might hurt, so it could be wise to keep quiet for the time being. CANCER – June 22/Jul 22 Cancer, a stroke of inspiration leads you on a creative journey. Things will calm down toward the end of the week when you have to focus on more tangible things. LEO – July 23/August 23 Leo, someone you know wants to step things up to another level, but you may not be ready to take that kind of plunge. Talk over your feelings in a kind way. VIRGO – Aug 24/Sept 22 Virgo, family has been on your mind lately, and you may feel it's best to spend the majority of your free time at home rather than out. Make good use of your time. LIBRA – Sept 23/Oct 23 Libra, a chance encounter has you rethinking what you want to accomplish in the next few weeks. You are secondguessing all of your plans because of this surprise. SCORPIO – Oct 24/Nov 22 A decision you made could have longterm effects, Scorpio. You'll probably find that you have to do some damage control this week to get things back on track. SAGITTARIUS – Nov 23/Dec 21 Sagittarius, all indications point to a monumental change in your life. Wait to see what occurs and put big decisions or vacations on hold. CAPRICORN – Dec 22/Jan 20 Capricorn, it can be tempting to toss away your responsibilities and simply have fun. But then you will be so backed up it could take quite a while to dig out from under your to-do list. AQUARIUS – Jan 21/Feb 18 Aquarius, just when you need a bit of sunshine, a satisfying piece of good news arrives. Your spouse or partner plays a significant role in this positive development. PISCES – Feb 19/Mar20 Pisces, a tangled web is forming around you, but with quick wit you will manage to steer clear of the melee.

GEMINI – May 22/Jun 21

Gemini, though many things can induce stress, the infectious sound of children's laughter will quickly take you out of a slump. Take some time to enjoy the simpler things in life.

CANCER – June 22/Jul 22

Cancer, some issues that require your attention arise at the office even though you may feel you have already devoted enough time to work responsibilities this week.

LEO – July 23/August 23

A memorable night is on the horizon, Leo. It may be Wednesday or Thursday, so plan to look your best on those days. Romance could be in the air as well.

VIRGO – Aug 24/Sept 22

Virgo, before reacting to something this week, take a few deep breaths before saying or doing anything. This way you can be sure you are not engaging in a knee-jerk reaction.

LIBRA – Sept 23/Oct 23

Libra, someone you can trust will be by your side this week when you need the most support. He or she also can help with sorting through financial concerns.

SCORPIO – Oct 24/Nov 22

Scorpio, you may need to take a look at your finances and any things you can do to address any issues. Tweak things that have not been working as you had hoped.

SAGITTARIUS – Nov 23/Dec 21

Sagittarius, make some concessions if it means keeping the peace around the house. Sometimes you have to simply sit back and let others be in the spotlight.

CAPRICORN – Dec 22/Jan 20

Capricorn, take a few moments to think about what you expect from a particular person and then develop a strategy that will bring you to that end. It sounds easy, but it will require effort.

AQUARIUS – Jan 21/Feb 18

Sometimes things last, but other times they fizzle away, Aquarius. You may not be able to predict the outcome of everything, but you can take steps to protect the things you want to save.

PISCES – Feb 19/Mar20

Others will quickly figure out that there is no one quite like you, Pisces. You are a great friend to be around.

FUN BY THE NUMBERS Like puzzles? Then you’ll love sudoku. This mind-bending puzzle will have you hooked from the moment you square off, so sharpen your pencil and put your sudoku savvy to the test! HERE’S HOW IT WORKS: Sudoku puzzles are formatted as a 9x9 grid, broken down into nine 3x3 boxes. To solve a sudoku, the numbers 1 through 9 must fill each row, column and box. Each number can appear only once in each row, column and box. You can figure out the order in which the numbers will appear by using the numeric clues already provided in the boxes. The more numbers you name, the easier it gets to solve the puzzle.

Five Tax Tips That Could Save You Money (NAPSA)-Although tax season launched later than usual, taxpayers can still look forward to good news this year. For many Americans, tax preparation can be stressful and costly, but filers may be able to have their taxes prepared at no cost, plus qualify for refunds and credits worth thousands of dollars. Now in its fifth year in a row, MyFreeTaxes.com provides free tax preparation and filing assistance for qualified individuals, both online and in person. 1.) File online for a faster refund. The IRS recommends taxpayers file online with direct deposit to receive their tax refunds faster. More than 80 percent of taxpayers filed electronically last year. On MyFreeTaxes.com, you can file quickly online in less than an hour, plus receive chat and phone help from certified volunteer tax advisers. 2.) File your federal and state taxes free. Many paid tax preparers offer free federal returns or free e-file, but then charge for the state return so aren’t really free. The MyFreeTaxes Partnership offers two ways to file both federal and state taxes for free with no state or federal tax preparation or filing fees. Taxpayers can file online at MyFreeTaxes.com if they earned $57,000 or less in 2012, or in person at a community-based tax preparation site with IRS-certified volunteers if they earned $50,000 or less. Visit MyFreeTaxes.com to find in-person filing locations in your community. 3.) Get extra help if you need it. MyFreeTaxes.com also offers accessibility assistance for taxpayers with disabilities, phone assistance with tax software questions by calling 855-My-Tx-Help, plus help finding an in-person filing site in your community. 4.) Ensure you receive refunds and credits.

Whether you are preparing your taxes online or in person, it’s important to have the documents you need-such as W-2s, 1099s and last year’s return.

MyFreeTaxes.com offers a handy checklist so taxpayers can gather the right information, from W-2s to bank account numbers for direct deposit of a refund to Social Security numbers for each member in the household. Plus, eligible taxpayers can qualify for valuable tax credits like the Earned Income Tax Credit and Child Tax Credit, which can be claimed for up to $5,891. One in five Americans are unaware they qualify for the EITC and lose money they could be receiving in a refund. 5.) Consider a tax-time savings bond. In addition to saving money by not paying a paid tax preparer, taxpayers can also consider using all or part of their tax refund to purchase Series 1 U.S. Savings Bonds for as little as $50 and up to $5,000-saving more money for a rainy day. The MyFreeTaxes Partnership is powered by the Walmart Foundation in cooperation with United Way Worldwide, Goodwill Industries International and National Disability Institute, with tax filing software provided by H&R Block(r). The online and inperson tax preparation and filing ser_vices have helped 4.5 million individuals and families claim nearly $6 billion in tax credits and refunds since 2009. To learn more, visit www.MyFreeTaxes.com or call 855-My-Tx-Help for more information.
