In 2023, I will be commencing a double degree in a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in English) and Bachelor of Media and Communications at the University of Sydney. While at university, I look forward to expanding upon my passion for literature, critical thinking and the humanities, fostered during my time at Brigidine.
I am interested in pursuing a career in journalism and am eager to work overseas, immersing myself in different cultures and gaining new experiences. I know my deep love for learning and curiosity about the world that I acquired at Brigidine will be invaluable in my future endeavours. Through cultivating my communication skills, I hope to convey original ideas in the media landscape to inspire new perspectives and drive meaningful change in the world, drawing on the Brigidine values of strength and gentleness instilled in me.
DOUBLE DEGREE - BACHELOR OF ARTS (MAJORING IN ENGLISH) AND BACHELOR OF MEDIA AND COMMUNICATSIONS
In 2023, I am looking forward to beginning a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Economics, majoring in Econometrics, at the University of Sydney. I am keen to incorporate my love for social sciences, that has been fostered during my time at Brigidine, into a fulfilling career as a lawyer. My interest in these areas really developed through my HSC study of Legal Studies, Economics and Geography, as well as my involvement in the Mock Trial Competition.
I am excited to be able to have a tangible and positive impact on people’s lives, using Brigidine’s values of strength and gentleness throughout my work and life. I am also looking forward to travelling, having fun in my first year of university and spending more time with family and friends. While I am sad to leave the Brigidine community, I am taking with me amazing learning, incredible memories and close friendships that I will treasure forever.
