Wearealsothrilledtoonceagainpartner with the Bridgewater Chinese American Association to celebrate Lunar New Year This event showcases the rich ulturalheritagewithinourcommunity encourage everyone to participate in hisvibrantcelebration.

For those interested in enhancing their home safety, the township is offering free radontestkitstoresidents.Radonisaseriousbutoftenoverlookedhealthrisk,and testingisaneasysteptowardprotectingyourfamily.

Additionally, the Bridgewater Police Department will once again be hosting its Citizen’s Police Academy, an incredible program that provides insight into the workofourofficersandtheroleoflawenforcementinourcommunity Ihopeyou pply!

A Unique Opportunity to Engage with Law Enforcement

TheBridgewaterCitizen’sPoliceAcademyoffersresidentsarareandvaluableopportunitytogain firsthandinsightintotheworkoftheBridgewaterPoliceDepartment.Thisprogramisdesignedto educateparticipantsaboutlawenforcementoperations,strengthencommunityrelationships,and promotetransparencybetweenthepoliceandthepublic.

Throughout the academy, participants will engage in interactive sessions covering topics such as criminal investigations, traffic enforcement, emergency response, and community policing. Attendeeswillalsohavethechancetomeetofficers,askquestions,andevenexperiencehands-on demonstrationsofpoliceprocedures.

By participating in the Citizen’s Police Academy, residents will develop a deeper understanding of the challenges and responsibilities faced by law enforcement while also learning practical safety tips to benefit their families and neighborhoods. This program fosters an open dialogue betweenofficersandthecommunity,helping tobuildmutualtrustandcooperation.

Whether you have an interest in public safety, are considering a career in law enforcement, or simply want to be a more informed resident, the Citizen’s Police Academy is a rewarding experience.
